ASE Testing

So I have completed my first auto class at Lincoln Tech, got a 96% for Basic Electrical (A6 Electricity/Electrical). I am now in Fuels and Emissions (A8 Engine Performance). I also just signed up for both tests this November with ASE, how hard are these test? Should I be ready for a major pain in the tailpipe taking these two?

If you got a 96 on the elec test you should do fine, IMO aside from the elec test the auto trans is the hardest but if you study and know your stuff it`s a breeze. I hear alot of guy`s saying the L1 is the hardes but for that one you get a book...wich has ALL the answers in it, you just have to find them AND you get a copy of the book when you take the test. Don`t fret, do some studying and GOOD LUCK!!

The last week I was in school, I had to take 17 tests that week...9 ASE and the rest finals at school. I had tests from 7am until 11 pm! I passed everything without a problem. I did the 3 to become a Master Engine Machinist, and I did 6 of the 8 standard tests. I left the auto trans and heating/A/C for later, figuring they might be the hardest. I should have done the heating/A/C test, since A/C really isn't too difficult. I also did the EPA A/C test that week (online...that was a breeze!)

The tests are pretty much book knowledge.
