anyone see those trucks with the big rig wheels????

i dunno if i saw the link here or somehwere else but i saw a couple fords SD's with big rig wheels on em and some serious lifts
can anyone comment on this?? is that even driveable?? i know ive been to a big rig wreckers and i cant lift one off those of the ground that has got to be a tranny/clutch/axle/brakes killer!!!

anyone know how much those things weigh and how tall they are in inches??
where do u get adapters for that 12 bolt setup??

the whole thing boggles me

Are you referring to the International CXT or the Chevy / GMC 4500 & 5500? They are a small semi in terms of suspension, frame, but underpowered pigs when it comes to power. GVW is way up there for towing the big 5ers and such. Not very practical, but cool in their own way.

I looked at them a while back since I pull some pretty good weight on ocassion. They really really like them a lot. I'm running 80000 miles on a set of Michelins now and all six are flat across when I take them off. Unless I find a really good deal, I'm going to stick with the Michelins. I wonder about the ride of those tires with less side wall too.
