If you have a HAM license you are allowed to transmit up to 200 watts on 10 meter.

Sorry I read the chart wrong. 200 watts for 30 meter and sub bands BELOW 28.1 mhz. I read it ABOVE 28.1. Either way the radio is still legal to operate above 4 watts am and 12 watts sideband IF YOU ARE LICENSED which was my point. As long as you stay in the 10 meter band.

Correct. BUT the radio is illegal b/c it has the capibility (sp) to transmit on CB freqs (11 meters). But yeah . It is a legal ham radio
