Anyone else

Has anyone else started looking at the number of posts the person starting a thread has before reading a new thread?

I agree here, if they are asking a basic question, with hundreds of posts, I won't be as inclined to help them, but for the most part, I don't really pay much attention to the post counts, as they do not directly indicate knowledge.

I rarely pay attention to post count unless someone just happens to bring it up.

Apparently some people just dont care, because I had a problem, and I had about 60 posts at the time. Posted a thread, and had a LOT of replys before long. Looks like my fellow first genners are just a nicer bunch than the rest of ya'll

I am more inclined to help the new guy. For example, if two guys are asking what oil to use (question recently asked in the 12v forum) and one has 3 posts, and one has 1000, I will be more inclined to help the new guy. But would most likely answer both. But the new guy would be the top priority.

I guess what I'm saying is I guess I do notice, but don't really care. I am one of those people that pay a lot of attention to little details...
