I have never once seen a Viper police car. I actually think that photo was staged. I've seen pics of a couple of towns with Z06 cop cars. Only fast car I've seen down here that was a cop car was the Z28 LS1 Interceptors. Those things are scary fast.

Just to do an "In your face" to the local drug dealers, the police here took a new Corvette that was seized in a raid and painted it all up like a police car, lights and everything.
They do use it, but is mostly to stick it to the guys they took if from.
Maybe that is where the Viper came from too.

The Viper and Corvette are bargain cars, for what you would spend on the picture you posted you could buy two of the "V" cars and have them modified to spank your picture and have insurance money left over for the year!!

Was over at the dodge lot for their gathering.. had a nice little BBQ going and I even got a free "silver dollar!" 
Anyhow... checked out the Magnums... I still like it, it's a good looking vehicle... however, they had a sweeeeeeet looking silver 3500 dually there as well... almost thought about trading mine in!

I've heard some ads on the radio about a Dodge truck that has the Viper engine in it w/ 500 HP stock. That's quite the engine for a truck! I don't remember what truck it was in though...Dakota or 1500?
