But I do agree. Our system does need to do away with the cruel and unusual punishment stuff. I am all for an eye for an eye punishment system. But then again, this counties legal system is so flawed that I could go on for years.

Can't remember specifically as it's been a couple years but I watched a documentary (wasn't Michael Moore) on the History channel about how punishments evolved and they were comparing countries outside of North America. You would be surprised what some of them do just for a first time theft, or possessing even a tiny, tiny amount of marijuana or other drugs. Similar punishments scare the crap out of people thinking of committing a crime and don't do it, resulting in lower crime rates.

Maxx, you're lucky to be alive. Don't ever go to one of those things again, man. People think it's safe and fun to go to them, but it's not. It's dangerous, deadly and stupid.

I'm just glad you're okay. You were smart by doing what you did when you found yourself in that situation. You are lucky to be alive but at the same token, you did a lot to save yourself. Good work and I hope it's a lesson learned.
