Any musicians in here?

Still thinkin about Megajolts Dobi...so sad......

Anyways, who plays an instrument in here? How long?

I'm an old rocker, still playing my yami digital extreem II drums, guitars, bass, and Keys, just for fun anymore, cant keep up with gigging as I like to be in bed during those hours anymore.

Started drumming 46 years ago! You'de think I would have gotten better by now

He said MUSICIANS, not drummers!!

Sackbut player since age 10 - OK, the modern equivalent is a trombone. I'm 59 now, so that would be, ummmm........ Hey, you do the math - I can't remember how.

Ive been a drummer for 18 years! Started up on guitar for the last couple years and a little piano from time to time. I enjoy music but after all the drug addicts and alcoholics I used to play with I just do it for fun now. Have my little home studio and all. Record everything straight onto the computer and make my little tunes. Itd be fun to be in a band again someday, but Im happy just playing for myself.

My equipment:

(2) Alesis DMPros running Hart Dynamics cymbals and all homade triggers on acoustic drums

2004 Fender Strat 50th
Ibanez cheapo I built last year with (2) EMG's
Cheapie 7 String thats still inline for work
Peavy Reactor in Sea Foam green!! Its a classic!
Ibanez MMM1 Neck thru Baritone

Peavey classic 50 410 amp and 112 extension cab
Peavey basic 112 bass amp
Boss GT6 (I love this thing!!)

Kristal Software
Various other "freeware"

I think thats about it. Keep on rockin!

Thumbs up

Been playing 18 years here..right now I play with a classic rock band and before that did alot of traditional jazz and blues gigs..and before that in high school and jr. high did classical and marching band for years. My instruments include but aren't limited to the Bass Guitar, tuba, trombone and some vocals.

Hovisimo: What kind of recorder is that to the right and how many tracks you got there, that looks expensive!

Rustyjc:don't let the sac hang below the butt ..lol .. That is an interesting choice of instruments.Ever heard of a Sarrousaphone?..those old sax family horns they played on horseback during the 1870's and 1880's?

Why would you install a fish on a perfectly good trombone?

I sing really badly in order to embarrass people. I'm not tone deaf, because I can hear myself sounding musically awful, but I can't fix it, so I'm more "tone mute"...

Nice drums Hovisimo! All DW? That looks like it would be fun to ride that set for a few hours....
Is that a mixer board or a 24 track recorder?
I run a 16 track Yamaha AW 1600 for fun, but too complicated for occasional use.
DT ExtreemII's (unbelievable digital drums )
G&L ASAT Leo fender autograph model
Hofner Bass Copy (Like Paul McCartneys Beatles bass)
Fender fat body elect accoustic
Casio WK-3100 keyboard (I really wish I had taken piano lessons..)

Best part is I can play everything as loud as I want and wifey can't hear a thing! Good headphones are crucial!

I'm a guitar player and I'm fairly certain I could still play a little saxophone if one was put in front of me...

ahh, bad visual...the words "rusty" and "trombone" have an inside joke meaning. If anyone knows what I am talking about you will chuckle under your breathe..lol

Because I couldn't find a dead cat to duct tape onto the bell.
