Am I seeing things???

Went past a ford dealer near by here and saw a 02-03 ford 4x4 duelly- but it was a shortbox!! Do they make these, or were my eyes playing tricks on me.

Here in Kentucky they are popular with the horse farms. They have really long trailers and just love the look they say.

Sad thing is that for just a little more money they could get a real truck like a Western Hauler-bedded FL series with a Cummins in it.

I don't think Ford actually makes them. Centurion customs does offer a short box dually Ford. I have seen several of these trucks. At one time they also made a F350 Suburban.<br><br>MikeyB

I see a lot of them running around in NW Iowa, mostly used by the race car guys to pull their cars around.

There was a few Chevy's and I've seen one Ford.

I had a 1966 Dodge D 300 crew cab, short box, step side, single rear wheels, granny four speed tied to a 354 six banger Perkins. It was Air Force surplus. Bought it with 27,000 miles in 1980 for $400. UGLY!!!!!!!! 72 mph top speed but would pull anything, if it could get traction.<br>Sold it a few months back for more than I gave for the 80 model new.
