It was just nuts...they are both great pilots though, in the ultralight world, theyve never been injured and they built and rebuilt their airbikes from scratch so I respect them and a bunch of other local pilots do as well, but still...flying with alcohol?? thats just plain crazy!
I use to do that in a piper cub J-3 out in deep water channel, myself and a few others did it. it has to be very calm water. then one of the other guys decided to take that same cub and do it out on the rice paddy. well the drag from the rice stalk was to much and crashed the cub and ended in the hospital with some good head injury's , the was the end of the piper cub day's..... miss that old plane.

I would never get in a plane if the pilot intended to do that over water. Those guys are nuts. But the F-16's doing the low levels, that was sweet. I think that would be so much more fun then just skimming the water. Plus another benifit the 16 guys have are ejection seats.
