Thumbs up Actron AutoScanner Customer Service

Yesterday, I bought a new Actron CP9145 Super AutoScanner. After I got to reading the manual and their website, I was a little disappointed to find that it was not the latest-greatest CAN (Controller Area Network) complaiant.
This morning, I called their Customer Service and spoke with a lady named Wendy. She was very apologetic and informed me that all of the ones manufactured after July of 2005 had the latest upgrades and that they're still older models on the shelves of some stores. She went on to say that since I just bought it, she would send me the latest-greatest upgrade package free of charge. All I had to do was fax her a copy of my recipt. Now that made me real happy!
It's good to see a company that cares about their customers and makes sure they get what they pay for.

CAN is the newest code/computer system. It is supposedly in some models starting in 2003 and is suppose to be industry wide by 2008.
