this one in February came to a little over $17k to repair.

Little higher to repair than an 03 due to limited availability of junkyard parts... Also I had the entire front axle and suspension replaced..

I would say a lot of would depend on it the frame was bent.. Oddest thing about fixing mine was the work they had to do to repair the bed of the truck. I carry ~400lbs of sandbags in the bed for the winter. When they slid forward, they took out the front wall of the bed.

Glad you are ok, trucks can be fixed...

I'm glad you guys are OK.

When I lived in Illinois I was a witness to an accident.

I was in the left turn lane behind a guy in a small pickup. He had started to roll into the intersection and then stopped. The light turned yellow, he waited a second, and then started to turn. A girl in a small car T-boned him.

I pulled over with him to make sure everybody was OK and to tell the police what had happened. I thought it was probably the girls fault but the officer said that it was the pickup drivers fault because he had turned on a yellow light. If he had waited until it was red then he would have been OK.

Well I just got word from the adjuster, he said that there is damage to the frame that would be too costly to fix......my truck is a total loss.

I already have a new home for my cp3 and turbo, we'll be swapping the parts tonight. Everything else I may either keep for a future truck or selling so for those interested in parts in my signature keep a lookout in the classifieds.

Yeah, especially when a guy with a 3rd gen who thinks he knows everything says "they didn't make 5speeds"

Does yours have the 11.5" rear end or the 10.5"?

I know someone who needs your rear driveshaft.

Definitely get the buy back price.
The engine will bring $3500, tranny $1000, tcase $500, front and rear shafts $400, Rear end $1500, front axle $1500 and then there's interior.

Sounds good. I have a place to store it in mooresville, so I guess if the buyback is only a grand or two it would be worth it. I might even keep the engine and stick it in a Ford.

THANK GOD you guys are OK. My 6 yold and my 3 yold still talk about our "rollover accident". there is something to be said for a Heavy Duty truck.

Be sure to cover your truck as to not ruin the inside from the weather. Its well worth it to buy it back. I did my 04 in 2006 and although it was a hassel it was worth it.

My accident was 1200 miles from my house on vacation and included my 5th wheel which is another story. I had to pay to have my wreck trucked back home. But with the number of parts youve got it's well worth it.

The cab still seals up tight so I'm not worried about the interior. It just sucks because I was about 1 mile or less from home when it happened, a 6-8 minute round trip from leaving here, dropping her off and pulling back into my spot turned into a fiasco.........

Don't know yet. I have to wait until next week probably Wednesday or Thursday before the other guy's insurance co looks at it. Then I'm sure they will try and take advantage of Indiana's Comparative Fault laws and try to find a way to put some % of blame on me....which I will then tell them either accept full liability or accept a lawsuit. I'm doing my homework this time around.
