Rainy day here, but warm. Hopefully the rain'll finally kill off the pesky snowpack. Gotta add a little turpentine to thin the coffee a bit.

Paul, watching you swing the flyrod, they might just wonder where your dog team went without you. It's when you start trolling like Claude that'll raise concern.

I think I got a mason jar of coffee thinner somewhere... tastes like turpentine, but has a bit of a kick to it....

Yeah, I still haven't figured out the janitors secret recipe. It tastes like turpentine, but turpentine doesn't remove the bristles fromm the brush likt the coffee will.

Raining pretty good now. Aughta really be melting the snow now. Might get the fish in the rivers too.

Mornin Mornin

Ok you guys, you have to stop thinning down the coffee. What do you think keeps me awake and alert all day. I admit that it might make a person a little hyper but at least your not falling asleep.

Wife and my anniversary today. 24 yrs WOOHOO. Forgot about it and so did she till the mother in law came over while I was at work and brought a card.

Have to run so drive safe and have fun.

Shortround reporting in from the bootheel area of southwest New Mexico.
Long drive. 17 hours from Little Rock to Lordsburg. Hardest part was avoiding Mexican tagged vehicles dragging all kinds of vehicles and vehicle parts behind them.
Waiting on a truck load on new "toys" for the guys down here. Should start pushing the stuff out in the field by mid week.
Breakfast time. Several of the establishments give us a 50% discount. It's tough having to eat a 10 oz ribeye, 3 eggs over easy, hash browns, and bisquits and gravy for $7.00.
Glad to see you back Heidi. Looks like all the chats with "Sky 6" helped.
Got to get after it. Check back in when I can.

Mornin' all,

A cloudy and mild morning in NW Houston, t-storms possible from the weather witches brew. My breakfast done, gone. Prudent student is running low on midnight oil, and is still catching up on ZZZZZZZtime.

Saw a Happy Birthday for Chaikwa, does he get to light the coffee on fire and then blow it out? With all he knows about firefighting it should be easy.

Ijobb, congrats on 24 years, and best wishes for many more.

SR, yup, stayed in Lordsburg on the trip from AZ to Houston a couple of weeks ago. We sure did not find a discount breakfast like you just had. Did you sit there and listen to your artries harden afterwards. Resturant next to the motel was just OK.
Going to my sisters and see if I can get her new DSL set up. Prudent student might take pix and video and use in for one of her assignments, an instructional speech.

FO, you don't have to like scotch, it does the job. Scotland always looks so nice in the travel ads.

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

I was starting to wonder if Shortround had washed down the White River?

No wonder the Janitor isn't here today. I hope he's not waiting on Geico (M.I.A.?) to light the candles with sparking rocks. Won't get anything lit in this rain today. You getting the weather up there Claude?

Happy birthday Scott! I'll crack open the Beam tonight on your behalf...

Old dog, I never thought about cutting a long hole in the ice. Thats brilliant. Now I can use my trawling net with the SM during the winter.

Bark-Whats really scarry is things that actully work-
first good ice cut a hole and put in a 16 ft long board with a eye in the end tie a small rope to it- shove it under the ice in the direction you want to fish -clear the ice and find it - cut a hole and push it for all your worth - continue until you reach where you can put a pole with a pully down- cut a hole snag the rope on the board run the rope through the pully- then shove the board back to the first hole- now put ice house over first hole - your set to run nets or trout lines on rope that goes theough pully in pole that freezes in the ice at the other end.got to belive you guys do something like that up there.
we use to do that on large inland lakes up here.
