5.7L Hemi Upgrades

Ok guys and gals... I have a potential customer who has a 2004 Ram 2500 with the 5.7L Hemi. He's looking to go with a Superchips but has asked me if I knew if anything else in the programmer world is better for his Hemi. I'm a diesel guy and don't really know so who knows the skinny on Hemi programmers.

The superchips and headers seem to work well on the Hemi's. Gears seem to be a favorite as well. I guess a lot of the hemi guys feel the trucks need 4.56gears to run their best.

6.1 cam, stock programming, full exhaust, air raid inlet tube & filter, and I think you can keep the stock box. Then add a converter, shift kit, deeper pan, and add some deeper gears

Get a programmer for everything besides the performance tuning if you're running a cam or headers.

My wife has a 06 Hemi with the mods in my sig. The Superchips was well worth the money and is the best one out there for the Hemi right now. We have less than $800 in mods to her truck and it really woke her truck up and improved fuel mileage. Tell your friend he won't be sorry if he geets the SC programmer.
