Ahh.... The madhat ******...

One difference though, hats truck was being used as a tool, the burnout vid was just plain ignorant.

Id buy hats truck as long as he was upfront about how he used it and I knew what to expect from it.

Id be willing to bet that the fella who owned that other truck would swear on his good name that its never left the show trailer.

Hey, I found my stump pulling movie...

Blake, I think that I have taken care of my truck, but I have beat on it, too. I don't think that I have done anything to abuse it, per se, but it has been rode hard.

I make sure the t-stat is open before I get on it, it is always warmed up on first start, and idled for at least a minute when started. I never shut down before the pyro hits 350.

I have, however, pegged the 1500 gauge a few times, ran that thing 120 down the track, done a few burnouts, pulled a few heavy loads, and sprayed nos down the pipe a few times...

Nothing wrong with working a vehicle hard and pushing it sometimes as long as its well maintained.

I get a little crazy with mine from time to time and it aint got nothing on yours. If I had your truck no telling how much trouble Id get into.

I know that I've almost bought it in mine before... hitting 90 on the speedo before it caught traction, coming close to eating it off the side of the road...

All on a track, of course!

And thats why you don't use steel hooks, chains or clevises on a tow strap. You would have needed a new back window, and possibly a few stitches..

No metal on that strap, that was part of the stump. I had the tool box lid up and some cardboard in between it... I was prepared!
