4-wheeler

hey got a thought and need help.
my nephew has my 4-wheeler for a week or so and has been beating up on some others around town. so a kid comes to him and asks if he wants to trade? he says maybe. this kid has an 04 suzuki ltz400 that he wants to swap for a mildly modded 98 warrior!!!! he says he traded off a warrior for this 3years ago and has regreted it ever since. my nephew knows mine is up for sale and i havn't had many lookers due to my asking price ( high but i have alot invested) should i trade and try to get rid of this one for what i really want or keep holdin out?

You will get more out of the zuk.

Warriors are so out dated and you really cant give them away.

I would go for it.

I just sold my 04 z400 for 2500 and it was bone stock besides the exhaust.

It depends what you had invested into your Warrior. Yes generally Z400's are better, but if you have a good amount into this Warrior, maybe it is better/ It also depends on what has been done to the Z400. I friend of mine used to have a Z400 and it was a good quad, pretty quick. Now I forget what gen of Z400's it was, but one of them, the frames didn't have braces in the corners, etc and so the frame would bend/buckle from landings, stuff like that.

What do you really want from a quad, speed, acceleration, suspension/handling, things like that?

what i really want ( i think ) is like a polaris scrambler 4x4
we borrowed a pair over the summer for a week so so we would have enough for peeps to ride at a reunion and i just liked it better than my warrior

i've ridden warrior's since 87 and have always thought of them to be one of the best built and toughest 4wheelers but my back says its time for a change hahaha

Why would someone spend alot of money on a used warrior? When they can just go and get the next best thing. They are just out dated.

I ran into the same problem with my 04 400ex. It was track ready, (elka shocks, durablue axle, houser arms, ported polished, stage 2 cam, 426 kit, 11:1 wiesco, full hmf pipe, race plastic maire, baja wheels kenda tires and alot more little stuff). With the new 450s that came out it was hard to sell.

Just like your warrior. They can just go and get a new 350 raptor (just a rebadged warrior for about the same price. And have a newer more modern looking quad.

Not knocking your ride but. It is just like modding anything your not going to get your money out of it.

I have heard they are pretty good little quads, and 4x4 is nice to have.

I too was thinking of getting a warrior back in the day, but instead bought myself a banshee. I like to hill shoot, with the odd trail ride here and there, and run roads...so I like acceleration and speed
