It reminds me of a cross between a 3rd gen and a Mitsubishi Evo X, and I kinda like it.

looks like the grill is stationary and the hood lifts like the older dodges.
i don't like the squaring of the fender edges. i would like to see a more low profile, copy of a 50's truck.

SOME resemblance? I'm sorry, but I just don't see much difference in that and what's running around today. Maybe if I saw the 2 side by side I'd see the differences.

Looks like a low front (think Chevy) with a Ford box all mixed with touches of Dakota. I'm not really a fan. But I didn't like the 3rd gens and now I have one, so who knows, maybe it will grow on me. For now, I am glad I have what I do.

What are the chances they will offer a manual transmission with these new heavy duties? With all new vehicles, I see the old manual gearbox going the way of the dodo.

Ford was the first though in my mind. Hate the Ford Flares.

it looks like a genric truck.. no class at all..

those lines above thetire are teh"bedside tool box.. an intregated box, shallow and look pretty worthless, built ito the bedside... it was a SEMA concept thing, dont knwo if they are actually gonna take it to production.

I like it. For you drag race type I think it will look mean with a small drop and some fat meats.

I debated a new truck for several years, then after hearing about the pollution stuff coming up on the 2007's I bit it and bought the 2006. I am glad I bought a truck when I did - the pollution equipment panned out like I thought it would - and so far the 2009 just doesn't say buy me with regard to the changes in appearance. Maybe the 2500/3500 will be a better looking truck than the 1500 pictured. If they are the same or similar it will make me more glad I have the truck I have - no pollution junk and better looking.

That is how I felt. I'm glad I was able to find an amazing low mileage 2006 that I wanted (G56) that was babied by a wealthy owner (and traded in for a 2007 Megacab Auto). Can't say the 2009 looks bad though.

The front end does resemble the new charger.. slant forward crosshairs.

I don't see a strong resemblance to either the Tundra or the F150. More of an evolution from the 3 G almost going back to the 2 G with a touch of 90s S-10.
