i was wondering if dodge ever put the nv4500 5 speed in the 1995 ram 1500
4x4 and was the nv4500 ever in the 1500 model

 

I know for sure in the later years it was. I had a 2003 1500 with the 4.7 and it had a NV3500. The 5.9 (360ci) had the NV4500 behind it.

The 318 had the same standard tranny as the 4.7, and I *think* that the 360 was the same, and would have had the NV4500.

 

I believe it was an NV4500LD... smaller input than what went into the V10 and Cummins...

 

i had a 96 5.2L 4x2 1500 with a NV3500
if i am correct the 5.9l had the NV4500
