1980 Chevy C60

Looking for some feedback on this truck.

For sale on CL and appears, in photos, to be in extremely nice shape. GVW is 19,200. Six cylinder gas. Standard with a two speed rear. 9' plow comes with it. Hydraulics off of pump mounted on motor, plus the bed dumps.
Very clean truck with little to zero rust. Cab is not all beat up and is actually very straight.

I seem to get real interesting and informative replies in these off topic post.

Thanks

The old 292CID 6 cyl. Are some tough motors. We used to use them on the dirt track. Open headers and some surgery and they sound like a mad bumble bee. And will outrun a V8.Plus they have a lot of low end power.

I just sold a low mileage 78 that needed some minor brake work (putting in the master cylinder that I already had) with a working 7 yard dump bed on it for $2000. It had no registration and from what I could tell needed a carb rebuild. It has a 350 in it, 4 speed and 2 speed rear that doesn't switch gears it is stuck in low. Had some rust on it but was a texas truck.

I now wish I had kept it because I plan on doing some work to my road.

As long as you are not in a hurry it will be a good little dump truck. With the split rear you can always find a gear the engine can pull.

Any idea which brake setup it has?
