01 1500 4x4 front tire leaning in at top

My brothers truck is binding when he turns and he says the passenger front tire is leaning in at the top. Cant look at it because he is in Wyoming and Im in Georgia. Any ideas as what could have failed? He drove it the night before with no problems and then came out in the morning and went to leave he said it makes grinding noises when he turns. Thanks in advance.

Hope it isn't a wheel bearing failure.

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me.

But on the 1500's the bearings are indipendent of the hub correct? Not like on the 2500 and 3500 trucks?

either wheel bearing a ball joint has too much play in it.

Wheel bearing is the same design on the 1500 and 2500/3500, 1500 is just smaller.
