Just had a phone call from my boy. Looks like he is going to start taking flying lessons. Guess I'll have to dig my stuff out for him to use.

I wonder if he'll help the old man out with a little $$ for ME to get back in the air?

However, I have seen him drive, so Geico, if you are around KSDF, you might want to watch out a bit.

Good things are ahappenin.........

Wanna, At present I only have 38 years, 3 months, and 18 days. I ain't that old, yet. As Art Garfunkel sang " I'm older than I once was, but younger than I'll be."
The Bat Cave is in chaos this morning. Everyone is either gone or in the process of going somewhere. I'm even having to break down and take a former Marine tube thumper (aka Twidget) down south with me. At least I will be able to maintain my skills in Navy talk. Besides that, he is pretty sharp and can handle a set of multimeter probes without shorting out everything. However, if you hear of a power outage in the southwest later this week, it wasn't MY fault.
everyone. Big pot of Luzianne white can just finished up. Get some before it's gone. Good rocket fuel. Just the right amount of chickory.
Work to do. Outa here.

Hey, that is good news. Have you guys heard of the new sport pilot rating? Much cheaper to get in the air, only 20 hours of instruction, no medical certificate. You fly on your driver's license. Then you can fly light LSA (light sport aircraft) Cubs, Aeronica, Luscombs, and a bunch of new stuff too. Even Cessna has an LSA plane now. Check it out.

Well what do you know! The Eagle just pooped. President Bush signed a national disaster declairation for 65 counties in Nebraska. We still have 10,000 families without power, and we are gonna have winds up to 60 MPH today. So not much progress will be made. Over 600 miles of power poles & main electrical transmission lines are down.

Good morning DTRonians

My first morning as a batchelor as my lovely wife is off to College for two weeks...I may not put any pants on over my (glow in the dark smiley face boxers) until after the sun comes up

Yes sir only person I need to see in the morning is the old Grey faced black lab and he could care less what I am wearing Think I will start the day off with a cheese omelet, with LOTS of hot peppers.... and some Picante sauce.

Old black lab, lying on the floor with a thought bubble above his head; What did I do to deserve this??? My good person just up and left me with him, again. I can handle the smileys, even the boney legs, but OMG, not cheese omelets and hot stuff.Yuck! Cack! Doesn't he know my nose has 10 times as many smell receptors as his!!! This is going to be bad.......very bad. 911 911 Somebody call the Humane Society, the is dog abuse!!!

Kidletts off to the think tank. Wife off to work. I pakced her lunch and she took the truck. Daughter off to work.

Was catching up on the post in here FESTUS is bald, has a hair dryer and heating up leftovers. Is he using the hairdryer for the leftovers

FiverBob, I lived in NW corner of Seattle for 38 years. Had a lot of power outages. The generator we had got a lot of hours on in. Had a lot of trees come down around us, never hit the house tho. Had a big one come down across 3rd ave NW taking power lines and poles down. Shirley and I put up reflector tryanges and were directing traffic around it. Guy in a 4wd explores get outta my way, I can get thru it. It was funny when some how he got the fron wheel/axel caught in a guy wire and pull the font end way up in the air.

Off to do rounds, have a good un

No you don't, I wear high tech camo!

Only dropped 8 out of the black this am, they were all in the 4 ring, tho. Not too bad for the first, rainy morning. Could not even see the X when I got done, it was missing. I love this job, use someone else's weapon and ammo for free. All you gotta do is clean it at the end of the week.

Getting hungry. Think I'll go score some BBQ for lunch.

So, every time you post you sit at the same computer, in the same chair, at the same desk. Notice a pattern developing? Around here, we call it "bait".

Are you sure? With all that rain maybe some new boot shot your X. As long as they don't find those left over roundsin your pocket(s) you'll be OK.

How about we just hand you two single shot pistols and set you up back to back and have you walk 10 paces. That way there is no surprise to the people around Madhat, the Marines don't appreciate people firing on one of their own, unless their the ones doing it.
