son has bright blue VW beetle (gas mileage and driver height clearance) but had a good weekend and shot up highway to another get together at 10PM.
haven't seen it yet, but 86 mph was the tag. either way (55 or 65 zone) that's gonna hurt. my advice would be to call the DA and plead to a 1110A or local traffic offense in which the town keeps the big money, not the state. no insurance hike or points that way. everybody wins. my kind of Law. offender still gets hurt in the wallet to wake them up.

read the instructions, (incomplete) got stuck, PSI was too low @25
called him up, and BA-DA BING, he told me to cycle it a few times,
and EXACT_A-mundo!! it was perfect, @45, the max upper reading.

blowing cool out the dashed cycled it off and on a few times,
looked steady, felt good (it's ~93 out there, ain't gonna be too cool)

i feel mighty satisfied.

now to go re-assemble the dash, it's latch is broken, it's all apart in the back floorboard, i have an inkling there will be some "OldDog OldSchooL" engineering going on....

Had to make an appointment to get the Texas inspection sticker replaced in the Chr PT. June 11 at 1100.

Davey's observations: with the high cost of fuel. Made good time going to sisters yesterday, very little traffic. A friend that came in from Katy on I 10 said same thing, made best time ever, no traffic. No line at the local gas station, big line at Kroger, with the discount gas. Houses being built now are getting less square feet, less to heat and cool.

What didn't get done today, there is always tomorrow.

I grabbed a quick glass of tea this morning theb it was out the door. My blownoilcoolersludgeinfestedlocomotiveengine project is finally comming to an end. I've been out in the field for the last month for work and its looking like this week we'll be wrapping up this project. The engine is back together, the oil cooler is in, and all we have to do is re-time the injectors, add oil and water, and hope to god it works and nothing else is broken. Although nothing else could be broken because everything was broken to begin with when this repair started. Its dinner time.
