NW... who? Well, welcome back I guess. Don't go makin' messes in the breakroom and we'll get along fine!

Might finally get the new truck body painted today if the weather cooperates. Can't get it inside, too tall.

Fresh is ready. Waitin' for the donuts to get tossed in the dumpster so I can put 'em out on the counter.

Either we got some v-e-r-y early risers or somebody is burning a very late candle. "Noobies?" Nah, just friends I ain't met yet. i do implore you all to be patient as I slowly peek around, trying to scope out the lay of the land, as it were. The hard part is trying to figure out who you can joke with and who doesn't have a funny bone in their body......

Well, I got my stainless steel, lead lined, coffee mug ready for the first round coffee. Gotta pass on the sugar pills though. The fax machine has got to go into the repair shop. Powdered sugar gummed up the works again.

You all be careful out there, especially the troops who are standing up in the front lines. Remember the words some of us grew up with:"Duck and Cover". I look forward to chattin', swappin' lies and just rubbin' elbows at the ol DTR bar.

~NWDave which for those that don't know means NORTHWEST Dave.

Now I gotta chase down that guy whose signature says he's here in Bellingham.

No one's hurt my feelings yet... I don't think that I have any... be careful about totallyrad's hair issue... he's a little sensitive up top. Especially if he goes outside without a hat on when it's sunny.

Day is moving by slow. One more rough day, then it's smooth sailing till Friday.
Battalion Commanders inspection tomorrow, SgtMaj ripped one of the decks a new one... I think that they missed a spot. We should do good. Not too worried...

Later.

Afternoon, all
Here in Houston, almost summer weather:Mostly Cloudy 92°F (33°"
NW Dave, I lived in Sedro-Woolley from 2000 to 2005, when I retired.
I have gone by the name "Davey" for a while, seem evey Tom Dick, and Harry was named Dave. Box5 is one from Bellinham, I thank that is his handle.
Good to see you back. Anyone can open the Breakroom, It usuall opens about midnight EDT, you would not have to stay up late ot open it.

Eye cateract sergury report, sife was designated driver to take me home. Got all preped and an IV was taking me to LaLa Land, when the were going to put the anasetic in the eye, found a small sty, and infection. Tomorrow I go to have that treated.
Eye is still a bit numb and dialated from the drops thay put in, so please ignore any spelling errors, or typos I make.

Ijobb, when I get the sergury done in the morning, if it goes well the patch comes off about 6:00pm. Then I should be able to see with that eye. Since I have limited vision in the left eye, when I get the right eye done I will use a cane to avoid tripping and falling. Have to wate 3 weeks before swiming.

Had to pass on the this morning, and no donuts sailed over the shack and into the back yard.

Spider report. mamma nolonger has the cacoon, spiderlings are too small to see. She ate her supper last night, 1 fly. She is looking for more. Very active now.

SR good to have you drop in once in a while. Still having fun in the sun in the land of New Mexico? We have a small piece of wortless property in Deming.

Shovehead ain't banged the traash can lids for a while. Noone wants to wake or annoy the dragon sleeping in the breakroom. To it we ar crunchy and taste good with catsup.

Hat always good to see you drop in, morning, noon, night time and whenever.
Keep the troops shaped up.

Chaikwa, bout time you showed up. Good to see ya.

Have a good un and be safe out there.

Bring it on, that's why I'm here! Always love to joke around. I can't contribute much in the way of diesel knowledge, but I can keep the coffee pot full!

And when you DO, let the rest of us know, will ya? Oh, we all know he's the best dang Marine this side of the Pacific, and he runs a TIGHT platoon, but it's hard to imagine he gets PAID to do that!

It'll probably be a toss up on who turns the coffee pot on in the morning, it'll either be me or Mad, I'm going to bed now so I can get up an hour early to get to work that much sooner. I've got new pics in my gallery if anyone is interested.

You know there's a cure for that. A 51" Donaldson would make a nifty silencer for that spud shooter. You might even find one laying around the garage.(under the husband's new truck)

Actually, it only took 2-3 seconds to figure out what MadHat did for a livin', BABYSITTER. Well, maybe not in his platoon.

Davey, something for you to read when you get home from the eye doctors, We're breaking all kinds of heat records up here. Hoquiam hit 99 today, Bellingham hit 86 and of course Sedro was much hotter. Yeah, Yeah, I know, what kinda stuff is that, why, it's much hotter elsewhere.... Very true but you see, one of the major attractions to this neck of the woods is that we have a natural air conditioner up this way. We seldom see these type of temps, one of the plus'es. The air conditioner is broke. We expect 100's tomorrow.

Just put the coffee in the fridge for me please. Iced coffee will be great tomorrow.

Were you the one in the market for a new weedeater a while back and asking for suggested brands? If so, what did you end up with and how do you like it?

Too dang HOT here to do much yardwork outside. It's 9:30 in the evening here and still 80+ degrees outside. Only yardwork that gets done around here is between 6 and 9 am.
