Good morning everyone
Nice and cool here. Hope everyone with the heat wave gets some relief soon. Rained overnight and is sprinkling off and on. The weather guessers were right this time.
Have to take the horses to the vet today to get their teeth floated. Slobbering when eating their oats for a while now. Told the wife to buy a float and then we would have it forever. Guess she doesn't trust me,sniff sniff. Say AAUUHHHH

Hot here too, gang - - so, don't feel priviledged. Headed for 93 today with lots of humididididiy. Maybe some rain later this afternoon - - that would be good.
Anyone have Comcast telephone service?? Is it any good?? They have that triple slam on right now - - thinking of switching over to it. I guess the only iffy is whether the alarm system will be compatable on the dial out. Hope so otherwise I have to go wireless with it - - another $15 a month plus installation. YUK Hate monthly bills.

Houston: This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 97. Heat index values as high as 105. East wind around 5 mph. Talking the 100's *F over the weekend.
Wife at work, got lotta homework when she gets home. Want to be ahead on it so when we go to my family reunion next week in Ohio. Be gone Thurs. thru Tues. Going to visit my old Air Force buddy near Columbus.
Hat, stay cool.

Goodevening to all of ya! I hope everyone is staying cool! A transformer blew about a mile down the road from me yesterday and it was 101* .Power was out almost 2 hours.You talk about a smoldering house now it was HOT. I will be launching Pop Cicles here in a few minutes so

The dentistry went well. No cavities. No need for braces either.
Sunny the 1/4 was worse than the other. Could have cut your finger on some of the sharp ridges he had. Don't know if I'd trust that speculum the way the vet did. Whole hand inside mouth pushing on the rasp. Sore pinkies if it ever let go. Daughters show horse was not so bad. just a few quick swipes and done.
Vet said she has a mechanical kind of rotating something or other to do it faster, less arm power needed. When she's doing a whole barn full.
Trying to picture a 4" grinder inside my geldings mouth.
Not mentioning any names but I think the heat is making a few a little cranky. More Popsicles and ice tea needed. More fans. More ice.
