River is way up, but seems to have settled in where it is at, about 6 feet high. As long as the tree line along the edge holds up we shouldn't loose that ground, as long as we don't lose that ground we wont loose the road.

Made the coffee, it seemed a little weak, then I realized that someone had stolen the grounds and put dirt in the can... had to get some from the navy guys next door, make sure your will is up to date when you drink this mess...

Wet.......... We're doing OK for the most part, local flooding at the worst right now. I'm still waiting for the first sustained downpour over in Vestavia. The dam and overflow on my last project hasn't been strained yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the pipes on the first overflow will keep up. If water hits the second overflow it's going to get messy. All I have is camera phone pics right now. I'll be going over there this week to take some higher resolution pics with my camera. When I get those I'll post some up on the site. I'm very happy with the way it's turned out.

Oh, as for your history lesson...............you better have listened to what I told you yesterday.
