Evening everyone. Got fitted for a tux this morning, I'm standing up as best man in my friends wedding at the end of august. Worked in the garden after I got back. Also cleaned up the truck since it was nice today. Wife will be home around midnight from her trip to texas.

Hoping to get sometime this week to take my new Mosin Nagant out to shoot!

It's like anti-freeze that's contaminated with oil and refrigerated.

Once again I see that chaikwa, being the nice guy that he is, will not get off the fence and let us know how he really feels about a subject.

Been out mowing the weeds and I keep getting chased by hornets. They gotta be in the ground in that area. Letting them settle down a little but its time to head out with a coffee can full of diesel.

I'm just too polite to offend anyone I guess.

evening all..
I found out today that I can get in trouble for my preference in kawfy.

Stopped at a stop and rob in Arkansas, wife went in and got us a couple coffees. about a 1/2 mile down the road, she takes a sip, blows it all over the dash and starts hacking and gagging. When she calmed down, she told me that I need to mix something in with my coffee... some cream, or sugar, or something.

Bark,
I had a problem with yellow jackets in the ground at my old house... I went to Lowe's, they had a trap that caught them like crazy. Obviously, I did not kill them all at once, but it really kept their numbers down. I never did find the nest, it must have been in the woods somewhere. Good luck with that...

I thought it was... considering she put my cup in that cup holder, then turned around and picked my cup instead of hers.

No, but everyone I know that's shot one said they are fun to shoot! Some say they kick alot but I'm not worried about that. I shoot .12 ga slugs alot and those don't bother me at all. I've been told once you buy one mosin you'll buy more!

I've shot alot of other guns but never the Mosin before, I'm excited to get it to the range soon!

Man they are a blast.....

If you have one that still has the metal butt plate, after a few hundred rounds itll get to poundin ya a bit, but all in all, a stellar rifle thats relatively cheap to shoot.

Ive got a couple myself. Couple thousands rounds on tap for em too.

Mine still has the metal butt plate. All the number match on the bolt, reciever, floor plate, butt plate, and bayonet! Mines a 1942 91/30 made at the Izhevsk Arsenal.

Sweet deal! I have one military original with non-matching, and a sporterized carbine that has some area 51 numbers on it. They dont match to the production year for the carbines and its stamped with a production date a few years early...

But for right at 100 bucks each they sure shoot good.
