Nother normal saturday, but today is early quit day so I may take momma and the lil one to dinner and a movie. Im thinking steak and the new Shrek.

 

Morning, overtime til 4 today. Then they want me to come back in at midnight, which probably won't happen. Coffee's good, wonder if history will repeat itself today without the reort? Funny thing is, today is the annual B-93 bash again. If you remember me posting links up last year of all the vehicles in the parking lot flouded out and people not able to recover them for a week, or I'm sure they're still around in google. This year, the county wouldn't let them come back, so they're doing it at the US131 speedway in Martin. Traffic is already backed up 18 miles on the freeway, up into the next county.... off to a good start.

Ok, made it to Sebring all safe and sound... We got about half way back from PI when my brothers series commander called and said they needed him back... we had quite an interesting conversation, but we managed to get home ok.

Blake - - you look so natural under there. Maybe I should start believing we came from a fish. I was intrigued by your white antenna out each side of the head - - neat approach. You can turn them and not have to listen to the lady of the house. (Hmmm, to the garage - - looking for something white - - build antennae -- how to attach??? hmmm????)

Out for a couple in the yard again fertilizing. How dumb - - fertilize to make them all grow better so I can then trim them.

Morning everyone. Had a couple really nasty storms roll through here yesterday evening. Dumped alot of rain and the winds hit 70 mph. Lot of trees down around the area. Our power got knock out for a few hours. Everything is ok though, no damage to the yard or the house.

 

afternoon all ,been busy paintin' someone punch me please ,oh well fartin' around on the truck today got the fifth gear nut on the 4500 welded up , tharts not going anywherenow i'v got to get the engine set up so i can put the IP back on when i get my peices back from the machine shop, oh Blake got play with a TIG welder the other day ,i want one now [yes it was blue] later

 

Afternoon everyone, stoppin in for a nice cold glass of sweet tea. Went to the gun shop today and bought 440 rounds of 7.62x54r milsurp ammo for my new 91/30. I was gonna go fishing this morning but with all the rain last night the fishing hole i normally go to was all mudded up and would have been a PITA. Got the truck washed and dried, gonna wax it this afternoon.

 

Greetings from up here. Still sitting in the holding pattern for surgery. surprise surprise.
Worked a bit in the yard but we have had so much rain the water table is now just 6" below the surface. Extremely rare for here. We are getting inch after inch of rain and the forecast is for possible storms, then 2" of rain on Monday.
Cattle are sick and dying, crops are ruined, trans canada highway was closed and still may be closed with a 130 mile detour. Many areas are disaster areas. Mud slides etc etc etc

Now the sun is out and the heat is on and the clouds are building fast.

Going to bbq some buffalo tonight with some corn on the cob and some grilled veggies.

Hope everyone has a great wknd. I may get called tomorrow evening for Monday procedure.

Buffalo is good, I like it alot just wish it was easier to get around here. Got some rabbit on the bbq right now.

Wow! Sort of glad I left the rig down south and flew up this summer. Everybody else around here sounds ok sorry Scotty is still waiting on the surg. Hope you are not having to fast everyday. Time to head to the old folks place.
