Thanks Scott. I'm using this to keep my mind off of it. All of the advise especially from those of you that were or are LEO's is really appreciated. I hope it doesn't get pushed off as kids are just being kids. That answer won't be okay with me.

That's the response I want from the school. It doesn't have to go as far as the other kids in cuffs. Can't hurt though.

Chris, make sure you convey to them that your son had clammed-up from the threat, til later on. It's a real concern, as suggested, that police get skepticle of the complaint when somebody sits on it stewing ,instead of reporting it early. The concern is people have time to blow things out of proportion and facts get distorted as time goes by, or it isn't important enouph to report immediately out of inconvenience. Please don't think I'm accusing you of this at all, just offering a possible, initial, impression from them, so you can report it correctly.

That was a concern of my own. That it wouldn't get taken seriously if we waited. We did call the school and leave voicemails. It's all we could do on a Friday afternoon after he talked about it. I felt too that the Sherrifs Office wouldn't do anything on the weekend except take a report or tell us to wait til Monday. Problem is that these kids are in a different higher grade so my son doesn't even know their names. He can pick them out and some other kids there must know them. We'll see. Thanks again for the concern. Gonna try and sleep. Hittin the rack.
