Had all of that I want for the year.

Davey, interesting evening but congrats just the same. Lawn fudge, hadn't heard that one before.

Morning all.

Morning everybody. This weekend wasn't long enough. It was good though. Oh, DH cleaned the house - did the bathrooms, mopped, did some laundry, cooked dinner. It was great! He said he's starting the tradition of Sundays being the day he treats me. And I added "...so that I do it every other day of the week and don't complain..." lol He says, well when you put it that way it doesn't sound as good

Got a couple things to do today. Shipping out an order, finishing up another, hopefully grabbing a little more supplies to finish my new workbench. Started that yesterday then ran out of screws at about the time I ran out of juice. It was real hot yall. They I couldn't even take a cold shower because the water wouldn't get cold

JWBM, lol The weather is making new descriptions. "Hot" just doesn't cut it anymore.

Davey,

Got my first soccer game this evening so I'm kind of excited and nervous about that. Mainly just the drive across town in rush hours for a 7pm game. And its still hot.

Hvytrkmech, salubrious? You can't use big words this early on Monday morning

I don't usually give plumbing advice but you might try turning the handle to the right of the spigot next time.

Morning.

It's MONDAY! August 29th.

On this day in 1885 - The first prizefight under the Marquis of Queensberry Rules was held in Cincinnati, OH. John L. Sullivan defeated Dominick McCaffery in six rounds.

1886 - In New York City, Chinese Ambassador Li Hung-chang's chef invented chop suey.

1907 - The Quebec Bridge collapsed killing 75 workers. The bridge was being built across the St. Lawrence River above Quebec City.

1944 - During the continuing celebration of the liberation of France from the *****, 15,000 American troops marched down the Champs Elysees in Paris.

1945 - U.S. General Douglas MacArthur left for Japan to officially accept the surrender of the Japanese.

1949 - At the University of Illinois, a nuclear device was used for the first time to treat cancer patients.

1962 - The lower level of the George Washington Bridge opened.

1965 - Gemini 5, carrying astronauts Gordon Cooper and Charles ("Pete") Conrad, splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean after eight days in space.

1973 - U.S. President Nixon was ordered by Judge John Sirica to turn over the Watergate tapes. Nixon refused and appealed the order.

1983 - Two U.S. marines were killed in Lebanon by the militia group Amal when they fired mortar shells at the Beirut airport.

1983 - The anchor of the USS Monitor, from the U.S. Civil War, was retrieved by divers.

2001 - In Dallas, TX, George Rivas was sentenced to death for the murder of a police office during a robbery. Rivas was the leader of a group of prison escapees referred to as the Texas 7.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

Coffee's on.

To simplify this even more, Hot is the left **** and cold is the right ****.. Or if its a lever style, move it left for hot and right for cold. In the middle makes warm!!!!

Have a great day Shorts. Oh and dont forget to put on your helmet. Dont want you to hurt yourself.

Morning gang.

That's pretty technical. Does Home Depot have a book for that?

Will do. Don't want any potential injury to be in the shape of a letter of a descriptive word written on the back of my head
