Morning all.

Nice to have you back Scott. You didn't have to come back complainin right off the bat though. It isn't all that bad just a few crumbs on the floor. Should have waited to do your trails until now. What brand name do the knock offs run under down there? We have some up here wondering if its the same.

Hat buy a topper and through them in the box. Lockable tail gate and your all set.

Who is still getting a heat wave... Well we are certainly not it froze here last night. Frost on the grass when I got up. Summer sure seems to have come and gone(not quite yet) so fast this year.

Shortround sounds like your earning your sheckles on this one. What was that old saying about never volunteer for anything.

Nice and calm last night so started the brush pile up. Still very hot this AM, just had to through some more on the coals and it took right off again. Better keep it stoked so I get this done.

See ya later. Have fun and drive safe.

Mornin' all,

Houston, hot, muggy, and heavy rain and Tstorms in the forcast.

This is my second Saturday of this weekgood thanks Hat. grandkidletts off to the think tank, wife at work. CIN good aim with the donuts, cherry frosted landed on the patio.

NW Dave, I listened to audio books and joke tapes on a lot of the long commutes. Lot of places like North Cascades where no radio.

Chaikwa, hey good to see you back, the breakroom needs you.
When we lived in Seattle, we were in one of the small pockets that was always left with out power for about 3 day. Learned, eletric blanket don't keep you warm. Got a 6500 W contractor generator and wired it in to the main box. Run the whole house. Used it about 5 times a year.

Wannabe, nice you have a money tree, looking to see pix of the tug boat.

ChrisR glad your off for a few days, it will be quiet, watch out for 5erBob, he has ways....

SR, your having too much fun. If you ain't at the end of the earth, can you see it from where you are?

Shovelhead, thanks for the motovational posters you have been putting up.
Wife sez "where is a Harley Hog?"

Redleg, stick with the fishing!

Have a good un and be safe out there.

Chaikaw, been wondering how you were making out !
You must have gotten streight line winds in advance of the storm , Cousin has an airplane on a private airport north abd east of you, He has been rebuilding it and is almost finished, (also has a 5th wheel located there) He talked to his buddy that ownes the airport and no damage there ,however 1000 yrds away his sisters house is a mess.
MY cousin and I use to have farms in Fenton area,(which got hit hard ) and I use to have a farm in the Hadley area(which got hit also) . After making several phone calls found my friends down there were lucky and it missed all of them ,(only suffered power outage) which was minimal compared to storm damage.
Generator sounds interesting, I havea 6500 contractors model with brigs overhead valve engine, runs great but vibrates a lot and is noisy.
(have it mounted in the back of the dodge to run everything in the 5th wheel)
Hedding down to the zoo Sept 13th through 16th, ( street rod north nationals)at the fair grounds, thought i might stop in and say HI, while we`r down there.
Cupple days ago stopped by break room ,cups allover sprinkles all over the floor, TOOL~S not put away and greasy, what a mess. tooktractor wan front loder ,rotated bucket down and scraped out break room ,wound up + & - leads for Miller and hung them up wound up hose for torch, wound up air hose , and wiped off tools ,and put them back as best i could !
Told every one you were going to throw a HISSY!!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK ON CLEAN UP AND GLAD YOUR OK AND BACK !

When you're the only one that can do the job, it don't matter if you volunteer or not.
The end of the earth is down the road a piece. Google Playas, NM and see what a wonderful place it is. only about 10% of the houses are occupied.
Lots of excitement, saw two jack rabbits doing what jack rabbits do and stepped on a diamondback about 2 1/2 ft long. Pucker factor went to max and feet did a tap dance on his head. BVD's replaced shortly after.
Got to get back finding what they are supposed to have, make sure it works, and get them pushed out to where they need to go.

Chaikwa, we went to the vet today and they took more blood so they can test for something else too. It's called Ehrlichia(blood parasite),on top of the Myelofibrosis that he has.We decided to put him on cyclosporin for a month to see how it goes.We are stressed, but still hangin in there with prayers. Thanks for asking.

I'll try to aim a little better tomorrow,it all depends how I feel when I wake up in the morning ,just messin. Cin

Mornin, gang. Same old story. Coffee, foo, and chow is out. Breakroom looks good, scotty. Glad that you are ok.
Speaking of generators, there are a bunch of portable 108 Kw genny's around the base... let the power go out around my house and see if one of them don't disapear. They are three phase, so I gotta do some modding... but I think that I could run the...neighborhood...

Till later...

Good morning, Hat - - and the others as they roll out. Gorgeous full moon out this morning -- just had to go enjoy a while in the moonlight in the patio. Thanks for the foo - - good - - might keep you on if you keep up the good work.

Off to exercise the fiver a bit this morning - - need to kick over the genny for a while and check it out while it is cool. And, we always leave things in it when we come back from a trip no matter how hard we look.

Take care and have a great one - - catch one for me, Don.

Bob

Once again, good morning, I'm waiting on class to start, so I can get through that and go to work, so I can come back to class, so I can go back to work. (At least I'm not having to kill time after my day starts. I get dangerous when I'm bored. )

Yeah, I should be here at least one of those days. I'll PM ya my number when the time gets closer. Would love to meet ya! Any friend of Don's is a ... well, I'd still like to meet ya!

Breakroom looks acceptable this mornin'. See? You can keep it clean!

2nd batch of is ready, (except the f00-f00. One batcha that's enough!)

Goin' to a 'Farm Safety Workshop' today to learn how to teach farm safety. This oughta be a thrill... "Baby cows don't have teeth but big cows do. Goats ain't sheep, leave 'em alone." How hard can this be?

Well Scott, think about this. My cousin`s daughter has had horses all her life ,Since 18 she has been a private taxy driver on Macinaw Island, never had a serious problem she is now in her 50`s and still driving ,WELL RIGHT NOW SHE ISN`T. Her teem got spooked ,(havent herd what spooked them yet) and started to run away with her and carage, (ON MACINAW THIS IS DANGEROUS) TO AVOID INJURING SOMEONE ELSE SHE RAN THEM OFF IN TO THE WOODS, ended up with a broken feemer (near joint) doctor says keep all weight off leg sor some time yet. and she can`t work all winter. She has been devorced for at least 15 yrs and raised 2 boys ,(both graduated mrom school on the Island) in winter she usally bartends at the Mustang ,on the Ialand.
The hole point of the story is Horses can be DANGEROUS , if they take the bit in their teeath their nearly impossible to controol, they also byte, and when a draft horse steps on your foot (more than an OUCH )
HAVING SPENT MOST OF MY LIFE ON A FARM , IVE BEEN KICKED ,STEPED ON BY HORSES ,COWS, BUNTED BY SHEEP (OH THEY CAN KNOCK YOU DOWN)BITTEN BY HORSES ,SHEEP , GOATS ,CRAPPED ON BY ALL, PECKED BY CHICKENS & TURKEYS , SCRATCHED BY RABBITS, DON`T LIKE PIGS AT ALL,THE BYTE AND STINK BUT ENJOY DEALING WITH ALL THE REST OF THE ANIMALS! AS FAR AS ANIMELS GO SOME ASE JUST TWO TOUGH TO TRAIN AND KEEP ON THE FARM ,EATHER SELL THEM OR EAT THEM !!!!!!!
WOULD EXPECT THAT FARM SAFTY WOULD REVOLVE AROUND EQUIPMENT, MUCH THE SAME AS SHOP SAFTY,THATS WHERE MOST FARM ACCIDENTS OCCUR .
ANIMAL SAFTY IS MOSTLY COMMON SENSE ,(LIKE NOT WRAPPING A LEED ROPE AROUND YOUR HAND )
good luck with your class,
Wife is buisy canning &freezing all the veggies from our garden, other than irigating ,for now i`m off to other things .
Rebulding a jeep grand cherokee for wife to drive this winter , this going to be fun ,replacing whole rear axle and rear end as a unit ,plus rebuilding driveshafts front and rear. Should make her a nice little car .

HA-HA-HA CIRCLE THEM UP !OK THEN GEE -GEE- GEE

Nope, seen some nasty stuff from farm equipment, there was this one old farmer got his sleeve caught up in an unsheilded PTO shaft.. but never mind, some folks are probably still eating their breakfast....

Not much moving around here today, least of all me... woke up with a headache, and although she went to work, but I still dont feel like doing much...

Maybe I just need more caffine and maybe some chocolate... hmmm better run down to the donut shop before the chocolate creme-filled are all gone.......
