Removable Steps for a 97' 2500 LB 4X4

Hey all, I hurt my back recently and need to get some steps asap. A few years ago I saw a 2nd Gen truck with steps for the driver and passenger side that you could pull out of a bracket that was bolted or possibly welded on. Each step was held in the bracket with a couple quick release pins. I can't remember what the mounting brackets were made of, but probably steel, The steps looked like aluminum. If anyone is familiar with these I would really appreciate the name of the maunufaturer, and model. It is possible that they bought the steps, and modified them to slide into home made brackets. When my back is better I can remove them when I'm in boulder country!

Sounds like a custom made pair.

You might want to look into the high end running boards that swing out when you open the door then swing back upper under the rocker when the door closes. That way you always have you step up, but you still always have the ground clearance.
They are made by AMP research.

Thanks Oliver Foster, I have checked their products, and others like them. The are too spendy for my budget, I'm looking into having some custom made. They will have a fixed bracket to the frame, but the foot pad/step and attachment arm will be one piece, and removable.

They could be made too be pretty heavy duty, yet after pulling two pins, easily removable.
