Anybody go wheelin with airbags?

Does anybody go wheelin with airbags? I was looking at airsuspenions from kelderman and I was looking into getting 6in system, but I don't know how much abuse they can take.

I do!! I have been wheelin for 6 years with them in a few different 4 link rears.....I have also built some 4 link systems with bags for others in our 4x4 club. To date, we have only had 1 bag failure as the result of an improperly set up bump stop that allowed the bag to be pinched - live and learn! They work very well when set up properly but more often than not, they are not set up well to work well when wheeling hard. It is nice to be in a Jeep that feels like a Caddy when bombing down the trail! Here is a pic of my home built 4 link rear with bags on my Jeep....

CTD NUT, sweet looking setup and nice truss. Have you ever bent a rear axle tube?

Umm....yes. Thanks for the compliments.....after building many D60's with used housings or just used center sections, I have been surprised to see just how many get bent.....you can see it instantly when I jig the spindles to weld them in place. Using a 1/2" wall seamless tube like a DOM helps prevent bending but often just causes the center section to bend or warp.....IMO, the best way is to truss the housing and be done with it!
