Wheels

Most wheels don't have enough backspace & the tires stick oput to much causing the rubbing,I have 35's on my truck & had special wheels steel ones made with if I remeber 51/2" backspace & they barely rub w/stock suspension.

so if I just turn the wheel and compress my springs and measure the distance between the inside of my tire and my wheel well than I should be able to figure out what I can use for back spacing correct?

i wish i could but mass lift law is really strickt i am only allowed about 6 in of total lift (body + suspention + tires = total lift) over stock hight

and i dont think i can go over a 3" suspention lift without really getting expensive correct? so maby a 1" body lift is instore but thats the question i have and is there anything i have to be carefull of with a 3" suspention lift and a 1 or 2" body lift? does anything need to be extended?

i got 35inch tires on my truck with the same lift on my truck. the tires rubbed the mud flaps that that was it. i had to put longer control arms on it. i dont know if you did that. all i did was take off the mudd flaps.

If your rubbing the inner fenderwell at normal ride height, try compressing the suspension, it will probably rub worse. If I was you I'd open up the wheel wells, order a set of bushwacker flares and get to cutting. I think you'll like the looks of your truck better than if you added a body lift. If you don't feel comfortable cutting on a new truck I'm sure a local body shop could help. Or you can pie cut the inner fenderwell and weld in some new metal and push it farthur away from the tire. Just a couple of idea's for you and both would work, however not easily completed. Good luck

I can't really tell from your picks which type of flares you have, but here is bushwakers link. I think with the pocket style flare you shouldn't have a rubbing issues. give them a call.
