sounds good here as well, just gotta figure out what day I am working on the quad and go from there. Seeing as I got shipped the wrong throttle control, I know it won't be finished this week anyway........ but for once in my life the correct parts cost less than the ones they sent !

 

What time works for you guys. The only thing i might have to do early is pick up a car trailer so i can get ready for my drive saturday. Going to pick up a military pickup for a friend. supposed to be one of the old chevy diesels so we will see.

 

since you brought it up Jr, which Hooters ya want to meet up at ? still not sure on when I might work on quad sooooooooo I am touch and go.

 

I was waiting to see if any of the northern boys showed an interest. if not we can go to wayne definetly closer for rockspyder if he still coming.

it is always worth a shot, speaking of shot, ever hear from headshotzod anymore? hope he's doin good. man we had a close call here, bad electrical outel expander, type that plugs right in to two sockets on the wall, and gives you 6 outlets..... dang thing was shorting out and causing a real odd trip to the breakers, found the culprit today and am still not sure how the house did not burn down, this thing was trying to arc weld itself....... scary to think of, but sleep better knowin it is out of the loop. more flurries on the way, who knows what time my phone will ring........ so come on, who else is up for wings ??????

 

Tom is alive, just don't post here anymore. If you guys go to Hooters tomorrow, I should be there. Don't have anything else lined up except sitting at my buddy's house drinking a few beers.

edit : just got off the phone, going to be working on replacing the wiring harness up Bergen County....... so count me out. as much as I want wings, I gotta get this thing running. or at least a step closer to. maybe Saturday night or Sunday during the games ?

 

My friends and I will be there Sunday for the Eagle game, probably around 1:30-2 if you want to roll by.

Guys just got back from freeing the trailer from the ice zone. i know quite a bit of people backed out already so i will be heading down and giving it a shot see if anybody is still there or showed up at all.

 

I saw you tried to call Phil, sorry had the phone in the truck while workin on the quad. got the old harness out and the new one installed, no more shorts to ground, no more trippy voltages, but still no start, time for an ecu. Also found a nasty looking surprise in the belt drive section, lots of cleaning and a few new parts and it should be good to go. Went to head home and it was 5 degrees :O but good ole ps white bottle was doin its thing and no problems. Any one else not using additives, don't get bit like George, treat your fuel or risk gettin stranded, or worse, starving out and killing a pump. that article above talks about the ulsd as being horrible in the cold, half a bottle per tank is some good insurance, and keep a bottle of red, 911 in your truck, not your garage, just in case.

 

Always have used standadynes and never had problems.
