Well, filled 'er up last night in Fairfield for $3.25/gallon. Total was $102.50 and it was just over 30 gallons. Exciting to see it going down even more...Shell station by me had diesel this morning for $3.19, so there is hope that maybe it will be under $3.00 soon.

Yeah, the place down the road from me at work was at $3.19 yesterday when I filled the car up.

Woke up this morning to snow blowing all over, several local schools were closed and it isn't even Halloween. Starting to miss NJ already...

HAHA The weather isn't too bad actually, Tom. Good bit of wind at the homestead, but now snow, and no actual accumulations of snow. Just changed my tires this morning, going to try running some Pro Comp Xtreme A/T's in 305x65x17. Hopefully the DW doesn't make a return with them... Sounds good George, I have a preference to analog gauges for some foolish reason.

Anybody going trick-or-treating this year?

question on my mind now that the chill is here, us folks with the s06 smarties, has your truck gone to high idle on its own on these cold days? not sure mine is and am wondering why ????? takes long enough to warm these hunks of iron up in the mild weather, now I make it to work before the needle moves off cold, high idle should help, but its not coming on ?

Yeah, mine has automatically gone to high idle in the colder days. I am not running the Revo software, so IDK if that might have something to do with it? OR, the truck doesn't think it is cold enough yet, not sure what temps you are seeing in the AM...

I usually enable high idle myself after I start the truck. Don't think it kicks on automatically until the temps are lower than 25 or so, but I could be wrong.

6 minutes might not be long enough for it to kick itself in? When mine enabled itself the other day it seemed like it idled for a bit before it started ramping up, but it could be in my head too.

I don't think it's cold enough yet. I know when it gets down in the teens the truck goes right to high idle at start up. This would be with the pre Revo software.
