OH, girlfriend gave me my presents the other day, Recon smoked cab lights and one of the line of fire style bars. Has anybody heard of Rampage products? The tailgate bar is not Recon, it is a Rampage, she said if I wanted Recon, she would exchange them. With the cab lights, havent I seen people suggest using silicone or something to help sealing, prevent leaking?

So that is a couple thigns I can do some time, as long as I don't get excited and do it before hand

Pat, definetly silicone around the lights and under the lights to prevent leaks. Most guys are hardwiring those cab lights in, and I can honestly say that the connectors on those things suck. I have replaced two of them already because the connectors have gone bad. I think at our wrench day, I will be hardwiring mine as well as my other stuff.

Do we have a possible wrench day date?

I know Junior expressed interest in this coming weekend, works for me... if anyone else has a floor jack, bring it so I can let him see what the H2 setup looks like on his truck. Hopefully my fuel pump will be here by then. How bout a location ?

well my new on the rail lift pump is out for delivery, and Sunday looks good acording to this : http://www.weather.com/weather/wxdetail/07004?dayNum=4 so lets pick a place, and see what if any special tools need to be brought along, I will bring my floor jack in case Phill wants to try my tires/ rims out. And if anyone needs codes cleared, heck I can do that now too If it werent so dang windy out I might try this fuel thing tonight, but man if I run into anything, I am dead in the water, no spare car to drive. I need to get me a mni cooper to keep just for emergencies in the back of the truck. Hm, if I put the mini in the truck , on a conveyor belt, and ran the quarter mile, I wonder how fast the mini would go ?

Mike,
congrats on the upgrades.

I found a guy locally that has a polished 3rd gen rim 06/07 style, **** extendable power mirrors (like the one genos sells) and night runner headlights if anybody is interested.

So we are wrenching on Sunday? I can install my Bladerunner intake and throw some new brake pads on the truck. Maybe get a chance to put that bigger tank in as well. Who is planning on attending?

Not sure if I will be making it either. I have to work tomorrow and now with the possible snow I will be out early in the morning. Will need Sunday to recoup and than get back to the daily grind. We will see how it goes tomorrow morning.....

yeah, I hear ya, it just started snowin here in the last half hour, no matter what I have to do my fuel pump, if need be I will tackle it in front of my place and deal with a wet snowy road as a work surface. grrrrr not an inviting sound at all. but I do not want to be limited in my rompin on it anymore, almost a whole week of keepin it under 2krpm is makin me nuts. JR whats your schedule drivin that ad truck around ? I saw one cruise down 23 south last night around 6:30 pm.
