Gotcha on the Kalitta deal, very unfortunate.

Surprised Angelo hasn't been around since Sat. hope all is well on the other side of town. George, sounds like a good deal, you must be all kinds of excited now. My 450 is still down, haven't heard what the scoop is or what is going on, hopefully nothing too bad, but if it is, here comes big bore and or HotCam, etc...

Too bad your night played out like that Brian, have to make sure to make the next one. I got a phone call today from a guy on CF, intersyed in hanging out, but he sounds to be an OTR truck driver and sporatically in the area. Gotta work something out...

We gotta go riding soon, I started my Foreman up the other day and was kinda sad to see only 17 miles on her. Haven't been going up to PA and only have one trip planned up there this year.

You guys up for a wrench day next weekend? I am free Sunday if anyone else is. I have my horns and new speakers to go in my truck. Anyone know if it would be easy to recycle gear oil? Just changed my front diff fluid a few weeks ago and than got a smoking deal on a Hytec front cover. Don't want to dispose of the fluid that is already in there, kind of a waste.....

Sucks about Kalitta. I saw the video of the crash, it is pretty scary.

Just got off the phone with the mechanic, 450 is ready to be picked up, but he says he wants to talk to me when I go to get it, not sure what the deal is with all that?! After this, I still need to get the performance stuff in the Wolvy before it is really ready to tear it up, but tear it up it will

Sorry about the delay. I've been working non stop this weekend. Truck made it back home fine and I even took it for a short spin this morning to go to a graduation party. Everything feels like it did before the shaft blew. I can't feel any vibration in the drive shaft from the missing damper, so thats a plus.

When are we going back to Island?

good to hear all is running well, I was starting to wonder if I forgot to tighten something ! as for Island, I dunno, George asked me today about this coming friday........ testing and tuning down to a month to go till the nationals at Englishtown, George has a good bit of stuff on the way and to get in by then and its going to be close. but between the two of you guys I don't think its going to be easy for others there to top your times.

Starting to watch the finals now at Englishtown for the NHRA, man its tough watchin them all talk about Scott, going to be hard to watch his crew stand in lane when it was to be his turn to run.

Still aiming for 12.5 are we?

You got this Angelo j/k, I am not one to push anybody, good to hear back that things are well with you and things came together well. Interested to hear long term how highway travel is w/o that damper. Wonder if a lack of it will shorten the life of universals or anything like that...

I watched that video and my heart sunk when it all started going down. Can't imagine that kind of hurt for the family and crew

it may be tight with all the work a few of us have to do, but , between now and Englishtown we should possibly try to schedule a dyno day, so we can tune for the track and have a real good idea what to run when we get there instead of trying to figure it out as we go through the paces at the big event. Wonder what crazy horse's schedule is like, and how much interest we could get to go down there and share the expense.

Which dyno are you talking about? I talked to Crazy House Customs in South Brunswick the other day.

Im am going to bring two trucks down there for some tuning pretty soon. Jay is a good guy and he will work on the price the more trucks that come. He told me $125/hr.

If you want to set up a day and get a few trucks down there to get a better price let me know...

I need about a week or two to get them both back together.

I was talking crazy horse, in south amboy..... shadow of the raritan bridge...... we have dealt with him in the past and know his results, and can directly compare new results vs old on same dyno, no guessing if this dyno vs that dyno bs. gut feeling.

When were you guys planning on doing this? I may be tempted to throw my truck on the rollers just to get a baseline number.

Also, what is the date for Diesels at Island? I definetly will be there for that.

I know Crazy Horse has the ability to get torque numbers. When vA came over from England Chris bought the optical sensor. You have to have a piece of reflective tape on the harmonic balancer to get the torque readings.

The Island diesel event is on the 20th I believe.
