Going to give myself a double post here, I just looked on the map, looks to be a tad over an hour and a half ride from here, longer than I remembered. I will probably plan on leaving here around 10, maybe a little after. That gives some time to get there without rushing, relax and shoot the bull for a bit before sitting down to eat.

Not really Mike, I am probably going to go up 206 into Milford, up a bit, then grab 84 to 81s. Guess we will probably just end up meeting you out there at the Petro.

 

yeah, looking at the map that makes more sense, no use adding more mile to the trip.besides, the way our trucks roll the coal at times, wouldn't be fun either one of us followin the other !

well at least ya got it fixed 'cause you wanted too, not had too like a few boys will tonight in the ufc fights. Well good news guys, I finally got off my duff and installed my pyro gauge, had a bit of a scare, didn't realize it needed power to work, thought the leads on the back were just for the lights. I did not get out on the road with it yet for a temp reading but at idle it works, and then the dinner bell rang. So no time to play with the boost gauge, at least the important one is in and working. hmmmmm still time to go try it and then I noticed a whole bunch of levels yet unexplored on the ole smarty who else might go to petro's ?

 

Guys wont't be making it. Still in outside albany. Thought of cruising down from here but looked at map and probably 2.5 hours from here and i have to be home by 4 this afternoon. figured if i came down could only stay for about an hour, i don't feel like driving that much today..

Awfully quiet around here. I thought I'd be hearing how the get together went. At least some stories about the ride home with you bunch of diesel nut-jobs smoking each other out. How'd it go Sunday?

 

The gathering went pretty good, saw some nice trucks, met some good people, was offered chance at a set of power heated tow mirrors, have to decide what to tell him still. The smoke story isn't too bad, the stock SW in the SmaRtY doesn't seem to smoke quite as hard as the custom toons in the Predator did... Guess it is time to decide on one of the updates floating around

I ran #4 no timing out there and back with the puck on 50 hp for the return trip, bumped it to #5 no timing and puck off when we got back home. Not a huge difference, but I can feel it a little. Comments thus far: Smarty seems to spool faster, and build more boost overall than the Predator. Predator fueled real hard in the top end, Smarty seems to fuel harder down low.
Ex: Predator, driving on the highway I could make my taillights dissappear from my cousins sight when he was behind me at night. Smarty seemed rather smoke free on the highway unless I dogged it. Pulling away from a stop without trying, Smarty throws a cloud, where the Predator was rather clean. Might try some different levels, maybe one of the updates, but so far, they are totally different animals

 

yeah it was a good time, awesome day weather wise.... nice temps, and great temps on the pyro , so I just went out and jumped to the 90 hp + timing program, still moderate trq management, but the wild program is on the desktop, just need to see what this 90 feels like. I am gettin a deficiency reading tho on my hot sauce meter, might have to hit up Hooters and fix that soon, who is up and whne is good, where can be figured out based on who is gonna show up.

 

I am up for a Hooters meet, just can't be this weekend. I am free pretty much anyday after that.

 

Yeah, I don't think this weeknd is any good either, but then that depends on what day is used. As for weekends after that, that is anybody's guess, I don't think I have anything planned.
Looks like a deal going on @ the Buck in PA, but I have a sinking suspucion that I won't be able to do that...

Well guys good thing i did not push the trip out there. as it was i was late coming home and little to behold Maryann decides to have a surprise 30th for me. So got home tired from to little sleep and to much partying with my friend and i have to do it all over again. Tequila shots are so good,, only the good stuff though. Monday was hard getting through the day.

I will be up for hooters, and maybe we should see whnd car shows are starting so we can get in trouble again
