Yeah, she is coming. I couldn't get up early enough to sneak out of the house to go to E-town without her. She would chase my *** down. She has been pestering me to take her down there for the last 5 years.

 

I am gonna try to stop by in the PM on my way home from Point Pleasant Beach. Hopefully there is more there this year than last. I was there at 11 am and only crickets and a money taker in the lot. In between trucks, so no fun for me.

 

sounds good, hey guys, Chris from NHRDA called and talked to me today for bout 20 minutes, boils down to he is gettin on a plane for oregon and can not make the race Sunday, I will be in touch with him after Sunday's race and let him know how it went. Aparantly, raceway park declined thier offer to step in and help organize, advertise/ run the race... stating that they could do it on their own again. I hope they get a better turnout, but the payouts, dangit I wish there was contingency money available, that could make a huge diff on folks with a few sponsors products on their trucks. but hey, there is always next year.


I broke the trucks towing cherry today, took a 3k lb dry trailer and loaded lumber and stuff on it for my club and brought it down to our place in jersey for storage till the next trip to NY, I'll sy this, the truck was a bit more thirsty with that behind me, but aside from that, no problems.

I hate to say it, but the more I read about this event, the less I am expecting.
I think I am going to change my route down there, if I swing through the Vernon area and meet up with you George, it actually adds like 30 minutes versus taking 206 all the way down to 287. George, it looks like a faster option to take some rt 18 from 287 down to Englishtown Rd. instead of going to to rt. 9?

 

I know this one isn't even over yet. but, anyone thinking of headin down to MD next week for the race ?

whats eveyone up to today, I feel like we should get together and discuss tuning these things. I hope the weather stays good for tomorrow, I do not want rain, or 90 degree heat.

yu8p, and about thirty other trucks in total, a few for the show section and a few for the racin section........ rescheduled for sat, aug 29th.

 

Well, that was an unusually long day... I won't go into details, too much to even post but to say the least, we made a few bad decisions on how to get home It was good to at least see Mike & George. Forgot the dam dyno video from George again Is there any way you think I can get that George, or do you even have it still?

The big news was Mike's truck was clean, George has some spiffy looking wheels and is powered by MADS flectronics and I put my smoked cab lights on last week only to find out that 2 out of the 5 work. some winning ratio that is

 

lol, flectronics is the only way to go.custom tune nobody has....and yeh i have the vid,,gotta get that to ya on the 29th

Well dunno who is up for it but Saturday night is UFC fight 101, talked w george and might be heading to Franklin Hooters to watch the fights, any body interested is welcome to come on down / up / over.......... whatever.;

 

I don't know who all might be interested, but the Diesel truck pulls at the Wayne County Fair in Honesdale, PA are Monday night, followed by Gas truck pulls Tuesday night.
