well I had a bad day.....on my way to work this morning on rt 80 my transfer case decided to self distruct.....looks like a snap ring in side broke a wiped out everything in side including the case so no rebuilding this one gotta find a rebuilt or a new one soon

 

o geez........... that just blows all, trouble with the chunk in front of that transfer case, and now the case goes bellyup........ got part numbers so if I spot one I can link ya ?

 

That sucks Gary. Your t-case, my tranny, they say everything happens in threes so you others better watch out!

 

Gary that sucks, but it is common for that snap ring to break. Somebody on TDR sells a beefed up version that i put on my t case so hopefuully it won't grenade. When you get the new one i would change the snap ring right off the bat.

phew what a weekend, dunno round here, but down in MD the air was just right for drinking ........ yeah I was stayin over night so out came the drinkin mug, me and said mug stayed pretty close to the keg o sam addams all night. fast forward a bit, going to pick up new battery for wife's Liberty, sitting there mindin my own business on pompton ave, right in front of the police station and wham, some kid in an Acura decides he wants to test my brand new trailer hitch. son of rats I tell you what, that dang kid tore a good 1/8thy inch chunk off the reese sticker ! his car, driveable, but I would not want to be him when daddy sees what he did to it. Got home tossed in the new Battery and that all went well at least.

 

i hate when a perfectly good hitch gets a scratch in it especially from a car

 

HAHA Priceless Mike, I have been contemplating what kind of hitch I could throw in my truck that would do the utmost damage to a tailgater in such an instance

I am considering having a gathering at my house on July 5th, this coming weekend. Any interest? I am hoping to get my AirDog put in, and hopefully if others show up we can get some other stuff going on. We have 2 grills and can do a barbecue and whatnot.

HAHAHA In light of that post, maybe I need to update. On the 11th of July we are hosting a party at the house, gonna have a 1/2 barrel of Miller Lite, assorted liquor (if you dare), beer pong, horseshoes, and we will have UFC 100 on TV. We welcome you to spend the night, don't know where you will end up, can't guarantee a bedroom but you are welcome to crash anywhere BUT in my bedroom. Party isn't starting real early, probably around 5 or so in the afternoon. We will have burgers/hot dogs and maybe with the right urging, some conductor's special chili. The day after, we are looking to do some riding at her parents farm, so if you have a quad, throw it in the truck for the ride up!

 

well it finally got quiet enough around here for me to make a decision, I just bought a wicked hunting crossbow w red dot sight and cocking crank shipped for 650 bux, mind you this a blazing fast 375 fps beast ! should be here in a few days. I can't wait to see how this thing shoots. June 16th the state passed the law making them legal for use! Now it seems like the middle of summer and all, but the season starts in just 2 months, might have to run to NJ property this weekend to gtive a look see around my stand and cut some longer shooting lanes, check on what is needed to repeair feeder after the bear ripped the snot out of it again.......... sure is a nice day out, think I will go give the rpg instal a whirl.
