Whats going on these days? The Chapter seems dead...

 

Everyone is taking their Mom to breakfast.

 

I check in from time to time. But there aren't many local events here that I've had time to go to. I'm hoping to at least make a sled pull to watch sometime soon. Truck is running good and won a trophy at a show about a week ago for best mods which included cars, 1 with lambo doors. Not too shabby.

Thats about all my truck can do without destroying the G56. Thinking about hooking the nitrous to it for dyno fun, but no racing or sled pulling anymore until a built auto can be placed, which will be years probably.

 

what parts of nc are yall from? im 20 min west of asheville

We are still planning on having that dyno day at "Waynes" as soon as Waynes'
knee is in better shape. He had a major knee replacement and has had alot of "post-op" complications.

I am getting ready to head to the "T&S Performance" Drag Race/Sled Pull next weekend. Then the first weekend in June is the NHRDA Drag Race in Indy. I hope to be at that event too.

There is a sled pull in jacksonville May 14&15th, I may attend.

 

I've finally gotten my trans back together and am hoping to make a few runs at Wayne's the week of May 23rd while at the beach. I called last month to get my name in the hat, but he didn't know what he was doing that far out. I'll call again this week I reckon. Maybe I'll get lucky.

 

Maybe I can get my Head Studs Put in this week, and go dyno my truck when i get back from Tx.

I talked with Wayne today and he's confident we can run my heap this coming Monday (after his physical therapy -> if he's into it then), if not then Tuesday.

I'm stoked to see what the mess is good for with "Good Air".

I think I'll not run at the track this Thursday just to help ensure I don't break the stupid mess beforehand (that and I need the truck to carry a replacement AC unit to the beach-place).
