What a weekend!

Had a great time. Our small NC contingent managed to limp into 4th place in E/T bracket! Congrats to Brian B. on a great job. Brian broke his front driveshaft while doing some shake down runs, we got him patched up enough to finish in the final four running in two wheel drive! On the very last run he broke a balljoint!

I got booted in the first round against a TS performance gun slinger. Those boys know bracket racing. Ran heads up on a 12.7 dial. I broke out by two thousandth of a second. I ran a 12.698! Bought back in only to be taken out by my buddy Brian B.

I did run my best time to date of a 12.55@107.95 on #2 which was awesome!

Watched a bunch of great drag racing to include the record setting run of the Scheid Dragster. Congrats to the whole Scheid team!

Mike:

My congratulations to you and Brian for all your efforts this weekend! You guys made us all proud. I know you are not one to "toot your own horn" but everybody should know that you ran the FASTEST E.T./MPH EVER in your truck running that 12.5@107 MPH on #2 diesel alone! So,....congratulations on that too. And don't be too down about going out in the brackets against ANYONE from the T&S Crew. Those guys are TOUGH!

Brian had ALOT of problems for sure with his 12 valver. But I know he will get everything all worked out with it.

Like you, I had a great time.

Well, it had something to do with a V8 diesel who thought it could. That picture was taken on the side of 85 near Salisbury. Brian B. has a couple he needs to post.

Funny, that's what I said when you had your streak of breaking parts. Guess the broken tranny is on the other foot now.

I'm gonna get that dern thing out on Friday if it kills me..... unless it rains again and then I can take the day off procrastinate another week.

Have you noticed I've kept my mouth shut about your broken truck woes? I won't kick a man while he's down, but I'll bring a black marker and piece of paper to our next race...

Hope you get it fixed quick, still have the rest of the summer to break something new! sorry, but it was too easy...
