Thanks buddy. I'll do that. Sorry you didnt get to run. I would have been more than willing to give up my spot for you if I new the dag on dyno was gonna break. Thats what happens when you've got the high #'s, you tend to always be at the end of the list. I'm definately thinkin about that smarty now.

Never gonna believe what my dad just said to me. "We're hopefully going to put up a 100x200ft garage in the back yard for tractors and trucks and we should put a Dyno or 2 in the ground for the businesses off season"! Prob wont happen but when my dad gets somethin in his mind he normally does it and does it right so look out in the next 1-5 yrs.

Woo Hoo, I made it back home!!! I really would like to thank the whole lot of you in NC for a great weekend! What a bunch of fun. It's a good thing the dyno went down when it did as Lary was just about to put his wife's gasser on there and well, it just wouldn't have pretty. As was mentioned, nice to put some faces and names together, finally. Dennis, nice pics and thanks for getting this all up so fast. Madhat's got a video to get up. You should see that stream of nitrous John shot in his air box!!! What a blast. The only thing that lit up bigger than Mark's dyno sheet was his face when that 5.9 roared to near 1000 on the torque meter!

It was good to see everyone out there. I wish I could have stayed longer. A couple of hours wasn't enough to be able to talk to everyone. Saw John_p later in the evening when he was driving home. Got to talk to him for a few more minutes before getting back to work.

Hopefully I can get to another event soon.

Hey 35" 05' thanks for posting the vids. I think I have watched my truck run at least 10 times and I still have a smile on my face. I hate the battery died right when the nitrous started.......oh well I still have the pics in my head.

Now my mind is trying to come up with a plan for my truck that my wallet can afford, needless to say not much is coming to mind.

Tell Ed he missed a great time, better yet you can show him these vids.

Dennis and Keegan:

My thanks to both of you along with all the other Members that took the videos and pictures! As they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words!" Man I am still cleaning rubber off my wheel wells!
I am glad I got it off my chrome tailpipe before I left!

What a great day... I had a blast. Thanks to all who had a part in setting it up, and a special thanks to John P for letting me use his gas... ! I'll try to get the pics and vid up... I have been a little tasked from the time I got home yesterday... I got a good shot of John spraying!

Maybe next time, we can find a track and a portable dyno or something...

Pete:

We need to set-up a drag race day at CPD soon and MAKE some of your friends come out there and drag race us so we can PROVE what our trucks will do! Their "skepticism" really ticks me off! Or,.....lets go to Waynes and we will invite them to come there Pete. You can run your truck, I'll run mine and we will get Bobby to put his on there too!

Sounds good Chet! I am sick and tired of those guys screwing with Pete all the time! As usual, they are probably what I refer to as "non-hackers" anyway, because I will bet that even if Pete can set this thing up that they won't show up! According to Pete this has been going on for awhile now. Pete has orders to go to Va. around June, so at that time hopefully he won't have to listen to it anymore.
