We've been pretty busy working on Brian's truck over the last couple of weeks, put it on a diet. It's going in today to have his cage put in, we got his block back from the cleaner so we'll start getting it ready for reassembly soon.

We're going to also have another racer in our crew! Brian's wife Sandie bought a nice little 2wd 12 valve that had a Suncoast transmission already in it. She's real excited about racing this year so ya'll make her fell welcome when you see her at the track!

Look forward to April 11th to see everyone from NADM. Thanks NADM for what you do!

 

 

If the NADM race is from 9am until then when will the MATR races be?

Well we plan on being there but since the truck only runs 16s and the wife wants to play in here Charger we are putting it in this year. My truck will be there attached to the 5th wheel.

 

Just made the camping reservations so me and my familiy will be there.

Rain or shine I'll find a way. Are you guys saying that those Wiper trucks are fast? Especially the ones with the extra doors for car seats?

Just try to get him into the right hand lane.....See if he can outrun the smoke!

Hey guys, a bit of an update.

Yes, we are running during the MATR show. The diesel classes will be added just like we have done in Atlanta. I reminded the track that we have chevy's and Fords too and he says it's no big deal.

We are planning a little informal get-together Friday night at the track. There is not a test and tune, but since the event starts early Saturday we decided to fire up the grill and provide something to eat. So come on out and enjoy a little pre-event fun.

We will also have some diesel vendors there.

Looking forward to kicking off the 2009 season's DTech Drag racing series at the Rock!

 

Did they tell you no test and tune? it is on the flyer and we always go down and run on friday night before the event. I need to look into this. I need some 1/4 runs on the car before Pinks.

 

Hey guys. The family and I have a campsite as well by the track,or over the hill. Never been there yet, but anyone who wants to come by our camper and relax or grab a bite is more than welcome. Just bring some chairs. I will have burgers, dogs and some drinks. See you all there.

 

I hope they have a test and tune because I too have not run the charger on a 1/4 mile track and need the practice.

Dan,How did you go about getting an rv site? Do i need to call any one in particular to reserve a site and do they have hook ups or is it dry camping? Thanks Augie
