I'll be sure to take a 30lb bottle of nitrous to spray into people's air filter

I'll probably head up there with my girlfriend. She scares me though, she will be driving all nicely at 1-2psi of boost, and out of no where just hammer it "because that guy behind us was tailgating us". She even rolls down the windows going under underpasses

I think the meeting's close to 450m away. I'll make it though, so you all will bow before my 13.8 "stock truck"

What time do people usually meet there so I can plan accordingly?

John Rodriguez,

Glad your going to make it up! Can't wait to see your Stocker on the dyno.

Most people, except some of you AK boys, don't realize how far that is and still in Texas. It's about like driving fron New York City to Raleigh, NC.

I'm sure some of us will be there by 9:00 or so.

Just thinking, how big of a parking lot do they have?

Crobtex, I might have a little surpize or two for the dyno My truck's going to be in peices this week in anticipation for Saturday ;P If I look a bit ragged on Saturday morning it's because I'm going to leave here at midnight to head up there. After the whole dyno-day thing, is everyone going to go to a nice restaurant or maybe a sleasy bar for some drinks?

OK, here's the skinney.....so far..........I went to the dyno place today.

It's now HPP Racing, and that is what is on the front of the building. Their phone # is 972-395-9844.

Directions: If you are coming in from the south on 35E, take the BUSINESS 121 EXIT. You will GO PAST the regular SH 121 and the correct exit will be about 3 to 4 miles. From the north, you will come to BUSINESS 121 first.
Go EAST on SH 121 for about three miles. Holfords Prairie Rd. will be on your right. There is a signal light there.....turn RIGHT. There is a Fina station and a Mexican Food restaurant on the right, at the intersection. After about a block, the road takes a short jog left, then right. It will be the first building on your right.

Other Info: Unless you want to go back to the Fina, bring your own drinks, cool aid or whatever. HPP is located at the end of a small strip center in the middle of nowhere. If the parking fills up, there is parking across the street at another strip center.

Costs: 35+ trucks will be $40 for three runs.
Less then 35 will be $45 for three runs.
The way the guy talked, there will be more then 35 trucks there.

He said it was being put on by a guy named Micah from Outlaw Diesel, and that he is supposedly putting together a list of trucks to dyno. He thinks it's suppose to start at 8:00 am. I called Mika, but he has not returned my call. As soon as I hear from him, I'll post any further details and how to sign up.

OK....here's the fat part of the skinney................

I just talked to Micah....heck-of-a nice guy.

* It does start at 8:00 am

* He don't know exactly how many trucks will be there, but it should be several, and with a good mix of Cummins/PS/DMAX

* The only "list" is for folks that are having to take off work to dyno, and then go back to work. As of now, it only consist of about 4 trucks.

* The rest will dyno on a first come-first serve basis. If you want to dyno early, you need to get there and get your name on the list. I know that will be hard on you young (and not-so-young) party animals. Me, I'm close....I can party and still be there early.

Any questions......let me know.

Charlie,
Are we going to party at your house on Friday night? You'd think the Tx chapter president would invite us over to his house for a diesel slumber party.

Dig.. I went to the website, and they show some training wheels on the dyno... and some with big mudders too... Your drag slicks should be OK... It will be interesting to see the difference between our trucks... sure wish I had the other injectors.. and turbo..

Sure! But it's closer to my place in the country. Do you want to sleep with the horses or the dogs?

Well it seems my surprize for you guys isn't going to happen, but I'm still going up there, but I'm not going to be able to spend the night, so not too many drinks for me (something tells me 16 hours of driving in 30 with no sleep is a bad idea ). I was thinking if the owners didn't mind, maybe we could get some videos of crazy burnouts and some tug-o-wars going on up there?
