Won't have much wrenching, just fuel line replacement (got the official FASS fuel line) an oil change, and maybe an indash radio. (not sure on that yet)

Whew! Just got in from mowing the weat forty. It sure is a lot cooler out there when mowing by headlights and a full moon.

When you push the pedal down, it does not engage anything....just free wheels to the floor and come back up. There is something on the assembly that has come off or broke. I'm just afraid that when I take it loose, all kinds of springs, nuts, bolts and washers will fly everywhere.

EDIT: Oops, just saw your other post and it looks like you said it's all still connected inside the truck. The pedal only appears to be a simple lever that pulls the cable, so I can't imagine that breaking. If it's pulling the cable in the truck, can you see if it's pulling the cable under the truck?

I've ordered up a chilly 95* with a 20% chance of rain.

The fuel line should be pretty quick and simple. I don't know about the radio, haven't done a change out in many years. If you plan on changing your oil, be sure to have something to put the waste in.

Oh OK, so it doesn't click down and lock in place? Does it pull on the cable at all?

Well, if you don't have it fixed by this weekend...springs, nuts, bolts and washer flying everywhere are my specialty. When we put it back together, the more parts left over are that many fewer parts that can break in the future.

Yup - ever since I adjusted both starwheels all the way in the wrong direction a few weeks ago!
Fixing the E-brake so I can pass an overdue inspection may be my priority this weekend.

I made a set of vapor/liquid gauges w/manifold for all of the refrigerants - I keep it in the rifle case.

I think anything more than a few years old is interchangeable among the 8-lugs.

I will be going to Mena, AR.......Wolfpen Gap.....and the Caddo MT Range of the Ouachita Mts for an extended Labor Day.

Sure hate that I can't join yall in Sedalia.......sounds like a fun and active get together this weekend.....and I have plenty of projects to do on my truck...but im already committed to Arkansas this go round.
