I'm probably just gonna drive up and back home each day. Heck, I'm probably only 55-60 miles from Terre Haute.

The door is always open. PM me if you decide you want a camping spot 45 miles from the event.

It's almost time.
Who's heading up to In. from the NC/Va area?
If you would either PM me or post here and let's see if we can get a "CONVOY" from this area
I am going to try and leave sometime on the 26th not sure yet so I can be flexible.
See Ya

Chris:

You know that I will definitely be up there, but I am planning
on going the week before to help the Scheid Diesel Crew
set-up for the event like I have done the last two years.
I am leaving on or around the 20th. However, Johnner
will be going about the time you are and there are two
or three guys going with him. I am sure he would like
to "convoy" with you, but I know you like a little "slower"
pace!! Anyway, maybe you guys can hook up.

Hello
John_P
There is no way that I what to run the speeds you run. Plus you are leaving a few days in advance, not you need it to keep ahead of me. I'll see you up there.
I'm looking forward to this event to learn as much as I can on B.O.M.B.ing my wifes transmission in her truck. She told me that she would like her truck to be in the 500 HP range when she comes home from Iraq. We are at just under 300 right now. I just need to figure out which way to go with the transmission and then plug in the power.

I would like to be able to power brake (justa little) with her truck when I pick her up and burn all four tires for as long as I want to I will be working on that for the next 6 months.

Thanks again for the great inviting me over to your farm, but I have made a reservation at a hotel. I will not be dragging the 5er up with me, so I will be able to drive faster. I only drive 60/65/70 when towing things.
I am thinking about going up to everyone that I don't know and say " Hey My name is Chris AKA PapaSmurf" I'm glad to meet you.
My wife is over in Kuwait and my son will be starting school so I will be by myself.
I hope to meet you at the event.
See Ya

Chris (PapaSmurf) and I have talked about the trip, and we're planning to leave from the coastal NC area around noon on Thrusday (the 26th). We're planning on driving straight up there, so we should roll into Terre Haute early Friday morning. If anyone wants to join along feel free to let one of us know. We might have a couple other trucks from down here following us, too, so the more in a caravan the better.

I'll be there with the Blue Dodge Thursday afternoon. Should be a good time as always I hope.

Gonna give the rollers a spin and see how this new charger does.
