Too bad i missed out, it was bad night, wife got rear ended by a chevy colorado with HO in the car
Noit a good way to end an already bad day.
Hey you, in the gray Dodge, STOP BLOWING THE HORN- YOU MAY GET US KICKED OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats right folks, the conductor was shot down as he made his grande entrance into the car show this evening. Wasn't there personally to witness it, but, judging from the TDR guy's laughter in telling the story, it was pretty funny. Apparently, Mike made too much noise (which I can't understand because you can barely hear the horn) with his horn and the car club guys are afraid they will not be able to hold their show there anymore. If they are worried about that, they should yell at all the guys doing burnouts as they leave. Should be interesting next week if Mike gets yelled at again.
Cheers

Ahh, in from a nice 9 hour day of mulching and laying down topsoil. Summer job starts tomorrow, looking forward to that like a hole in the head. Oh well, we planning anything in the next few weeks?
Planning on reporting back how bad my mpg is, got a 450 mile trip tomorrow, lukiyly that is round trip, However, even tho I filled up just now, I will most likely not make it without at least a splash and go pitstop. heading to my Gun club property in Chenengo county NY, gotta meet a man for a perc test, and low and behold it is free fishing weekend in NY so I may just see what lurks under a few bridges. Smoke switch has been removed from the truck, till I get an idea what might be causing the issue that Tom saw, runnaway, wot, stopped only by turning off the truck. Hopefully it is a simple apps reset or whatever they call it, I will miss it till I get it figured out. Junior, hope the wife is ok and HO too, sux but if everyone is ok, thats all that matters, did the truck feed the hitch to the colorado ?
wow Juniotr, sorry to hear it, hope everybody is OK.
Mike, you really get that bad of mileage? I just filled up today @ 505 miles, and was below 1/8th, but not empty by any means.
Are we putting anything together soon? I got some lights I think I am going to attempt to install, possibly soon, but one can always find more things to do...
oh, and 2 quick updates.
~ started truck up to leave work tonight, large supply of white smoke
~ I finally know what tap I need for the Pyro: 9/16 NF 18 That'is right, and guess who has one... DAD!!!! now, about dropping that turbo......
volunteers?

well, I never checked the odometer via gps since I changed the rev per mile of the tires in the abs menu. it could be off, but unfortunatley, yes, I do get that bad of milage, this trip will be almost entirely highway, 70 mph speeds...... rt 280, 80, 380, 81, all the way past Binghampton
well I made it on one tank, 475 miles, the low fuel light came on about three block from home but I was too tired to fill up and calculate milage last night, gonna have to update with results later. I did have to baby it a bit from about the 81 380 jct as I was getting nervous. dropped down to 65 on cruise to get it right about 1850 rpm. Got some work done on the property, dug the perc test hole and tested it outself just to see, wee need an inch an hour of perc, we got 8 inches in an hour so we are good to go, also repaired a couple breeches in the dam where the pond used to be so by next time up there we should have a nice watering hole for wildlife. I am definately not cut out for hot shotting distances like that, too much driving.
EDIT: Just got back from fueling up, 479 miles total, 29 gallons went in the tank yielding 16.5 mpg. filled up at the same station that I did when I left for the trip, so its gotta be a good read as being the same amount of fuel. I do not get into the whole shake the truck and wait five minutes to get that last 5 gallons in, maybe with a tank vent mod I could finally break into the 500 mile per tank club.

Brian got the truck back last wed. and said the whole front end feels real tight. i finally got around to waxing and pollishing the truck this weekend, so next thing to do is find time for those injectors.
Not sure about wed. but i will see this week is going to be crazy

WOOOHOOOO
got my title in the mail today, the truck is mine ! even might get some moeny back as I had loan insurance in case I got injured or out of work, since it's paid off early, they tell me some money may be heading my way
. Also finally got my snow bonus, not as good as i thought it was going to be, but I may be able to find a decent torque converter for what I got, Valve body is gonna have to come outa pocket. I really gotta start looking into what is out there for what I need. something that could handle the quad race, possibly stix later on down the road, and possibly a better turbo. HMMMMMMMM vent mod, where to find? geno's got it?

How is everyone holding up in this heat? Wife and I are in the process of buying a house up in Midland Park. Of course the irony is that I had to sell the truck to buy the house
At least we'll have central air
I've got a double wide driveway and lots of tools though. Maybe we'll have to bring you guys over for some beers and have you spill some oil on it for me.
