Or are there other oiptions we need to look into?

I think a dyno day would be a great idea. I've been wanting to see what I can put down. I don't care where, ya'll name the place.

Is Rockingham more central to all the NC guys?? I'd say pick the place that is closest and conveinient to everybody or at least almost everybody.

A dyno would be a for sure thing though... All it does in this "few chose words" state is rain, so why dump all this time and effort in getting a strip again and have it rained out and us stuck at home twittling our thumbs?... I know it's not quite the same as running the strip, but it would be cool to visit and BS with everyone just the same. I'm game for either one, but think a dyno day would be D*** near as much fun IMO.

bump the cummins idea . they made me talk to person after person after person. the woman in kenly said between $90-180 a run prob. and the guy in greensboro said $230 dont think so unless someone can sweet talk really good. I told the woman in kenly 10-20 trucks prob but she didnt really have any idea. I think if yall know someone with a dyno we would have a better time anyway. any ideas?

Chris

You just want to do the dyno thing because you don't want to play with us on the drag strip If we dyno, I would like to go back to Jeffs I've been there 2 years ago and would like to go back plus its central for most of us.

Fayetteville looks like a nice track. We've never been there. It might be worth a look. My vote is for racing while the tracks are open. I agree it's not easy to pick a day in advance to race, a good back up plan would be to dyno.

One thing I need the new members to know is that at Jeffs dyno all those members with Training Wheels need to take the outside ones off.

If we're going to dyno I vote to go to Jeff's place.

I would like to run the strip, however.

I already posted this in the other thread, but I wanted to make sure all of you whom helped saw my big 'THANK YOU'.

Cris, John P, Johnner, Brett, Matt and Chris.(and anyone else I might have missed.)

I can't thank you guys enough for all the help that you gave me. It never would have happened without you. Every muscle in my body aches, but it was so worth it. It was amazing seeing a crew of guys just wrenching, welding, cutting, grinding, powdercoating, and polishing anything and everything in sight to get the job done. It looks so good and runs SO AMAZING. I'm just loving it.

There was a dyno shop I've been meaning to check out in Greensboro. Its really clean with lots of room. I needed an alignment anyways so I stopped in and checked out their dynojet. Its not in the ground like Jeffs, but I still wanted numbers. So here's what I know.

Bone stock at Jeff's 265hp and like 380tq.
Twin turbos/boxes off - 342hp/323tq.
Twins/MP8/TST - 511hp/952tq.

I'm a happy camper!
