Has she been to trainers or people that tie her up and force her to take a saddle and be beat on while she runs in a circle. It's hard to make decent money on those but I sometimes take them just for the challenge. But in this case I'm glad it's you and not me. Some folks think they can beat confidence into a horse. But then again some horses are mental just like some people are.

 

i'm a go. i also think i have 2 more. don't know if either one will pull. but one will bring his truck to dyno. i can probablly talk the other into hookin with me, all i got to do is tease him a little and call him chicken. do ya'll think i can break somethin in my tranny if i shift 3rd to 4th while pullin? if so there's a truck pull thursday. i'm curious just how bad these new trannies are. i'll try to get more to go with if i can. chris, if the horse keeps givin you trouble shoot it with a very large gun between the ears. that'll take care of the worries of tryin to break it. if you need help i can do it for ya when i come up. hehehehe oh yeah.

 

Mike, you hit the nail right on teh head. The Owner says the first trainer got her in the pen, first day mind you, and threw a saddle on her and then chased her round with a lunge whip, to "break her in"......not sure what that guys thought process is
The second guy put this mare out with his stud colts in pasture.....gee wonder what would have happened there?
SOunds like the owner has been trying to get teh horse trained " on the cheap" and the horse has paid for it.
Kinda actually looking forward to working with her and seeing whats up. Wont have her here till Sept. though at my current schedule...
So is the Lawrence Dyno Day a go or we still need more interest?
I might be able to get a couple first gen'ers from 'round here intersted if its a set thing.

well i got some news that the truck pull we was supposed to have tonight got changed to july 22. so that puts me in a pickle. a big green pickle. dang.
