Minnesota people
Yea come on out Fox man, im looking forward to meeting everyone.
lovinCTD, yea that's a good idea about the video. If we can get enough pictures and video footage that would be cool of you to whip up a short clip.

I was wondering if we should take a piece of paper and write our DTR screen name and our first name last nape and stick it up on the dash when we park, thought it may help???......
So whats the final tally, how many people are planning on showing up? Just wondering, because I don't want to drive an hour and a half to be all by myself, when I could eat at the Appebees here in town.
Well, we had a great get together Sunday. I think there were 8 or 9 big Dodges, a handfull of duallys, Nate with the 3rd gen, Cummins and John showed up with only 12 valves. John is a great guy...he even got me to think a little outside the box.
I really enjoyed talking with him. It was a lot of fun chatting with a bunch of real guys about our common interest....Cummins trucks. Checking out each others stuff and talking about what is good and not so good.
We all sat inside at Applebees and had afternoon lunch and generally chatted about trucks. Trying to listen and talk to everyone is tough when you only hear on one side and not good at that.
Cummins got about a 30 foot plume of smoke out of his stacks and 43 pounds of boost. Not bad for 10 deg out.
Foxman had a nice little propane heater that he hung over the tail gate. It was just enough to take the chill out. Unfortunately it froze up a little. He's got a cool generator for running the block heater when it can't be plugged in normal.
Lovin 's got an impressive 5" exhaust. I love that big can on end. Probably drive a ricer right into it. haha A dually with that big can is a perfect match.
Nate's white 3rd gen was really cool too. Easy to work on the underside too when necessary...no jack needed. Hey did you get any good pictures??
I guess I didn't get to really look over everyone's truck as it was chilly so I'm sorry if I missed a few. I'll make it a point to get everyone next time. Not very good with names either.
One thing for sure, there wasn't a muffler in the lot of us. Probably no turbo rings either.
It was really cold, about 10 deg F and the wind was blowing right at us. We all lined up and let our trucks rattle for an hour while we stood around gabbing and freezing our tails off. It wasn't quite cold enough for the 3 cylinder start...hope it doesn't get that cold either. -12 today in Winona. Walking out of Applebees it sounded like the 1812 Overature at the park.
I think I counted 216 valves running at the same time.
For our first real get together it was a great time. We'll be doing it again soon and hopefully we'll get even more to drop in. I'll bring a note book and make it a point to chat with everyone and post it here.

It sounds like an organizer , you get one of those in a group and the next thing you know , you've got an organization .
Next time we have to get them to put the tables in a large square or circle , easyer to group talk , my hears do not work well in that inviroment .
Oh by the way I've got a muff in that system.

How about just one table with all the food on it so we can just eat and gab where ever??
down south we called it a "bahbe cue."
Next month the northern yankee guys are having a gathering. Anybody want to get a rolling convoy and head up there??
Have to give me about an hour head start as I drive too slow....according to my kids.

Yea it was a pleasure meeting all of you guys. I do wish the weather was a little warmer though, that way we could acutally look at everyone's trucks.
Cummins Freak- That was a close run buddy, im sure if you had your tranny built you would walk all over me.
I did manage to snag a couple of pics, but my hands where so cold when I took the pictures they came out blurry from shivering hands. lol
We'll have to do this again when the weather heats up.
